I won't rewrite what I did but I wanted to tell you that a CT scan is way too expensive. So don't feel bad. I wouldn't pay for one even with pet insurance (they pay around $800)
I have an estimate right here in front of me from when I took Comet to a neuro to try to figure out if she had and infection of the neck:
$4,059.50
Even if you subtract a few extra xrays they wanted to do, it would have been over $3k. (anesthesia, radiology report and hospital)
The CT was $1850 by itself.
Here's hoping you find out what's going on.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
