Bwahahhahahahhahahhahaha! .....uh, I mean.......................YES!!!! That's a grand idea!
I have a baggie full of Sammy's hair. It comforts me when I touch it. I had a very hard time throwing out the flowers we got the day Sammy died. I let them sit there a week longer than I should've, because it seem to make his death permanent if I did.
As far as the freeze dried thing, oh heck no. I couldn't imagine not seeing his body move with his breathing, not seeing his tail wag. That would be horrible! Then, what if something happened? What if you accidently spilled something on it, or broke something? Ugh. Ew. Yuck. Pththth. That is no. No. NO no no NO.
So.... no.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
I just stumbled on this site. I swear, not looking for it. Elizabeth, I guess if you kept him in a crib like the lady in this story you would not have to worry about him "breaking".
