I found this vintage video of Comet and Rugby from 2001 on an old CD with old documents copied from a blown out computer. It's only a minute but it's a treasure! It had to be shot on a high 8. Now, I want to look for more. I know I have the tapes - don't even remember getting this on the computer or taking it.
As not to waste a whole topic...
Here's a video I took this weekend. I've decided I am making sure I capture everything imaginable in Comet's life because one day I'll forget and as I've discovered, there's never enough pictures!

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Those are the cutest videos!! ( I was going to say cutest stinkin' videos but I didn't want you to take it the wrong way - that means highly cute!) OMD! Reminds me of Kobe and Mackenzie in the car so much and the tug 'o war garden hose - too cute for words! Thanks for sharing! 
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Classic. Way to get that spit snake! Rosie would be proud.

Daisy, 12 years young, had left forelimb amp on 5/19/2010 due to osteosarcoma. She left her body behind and joined the other spirit tripawds on 7/16/2010.
So grateful for each day with her!

We're not ones to waste a perfectly good topic either, so check out this pre-tripawds vintage footage of Jerry we found from 2006. Yes, it's a bit dark, but moments like this – just about two months before his amputation – are still priceless. Enjoy! 
Oh, that was great! Priceless vintage video! Jerry did kind of spook me at the end with George!
I kick myself for not having more photos of everyone! But I also remembering being the weird one for taking pics of my dogs at celebrations and holidays years ago.

That vintage video is just too funny! Chloe tries to eat the water coming out of the hose rather than play tug of war with her sister...
Monkeybutt reminds me of our cat Asieke who instead of barking, loves to play attack Chloe all the time. Like Comet, Chloe doesn't seem to care about the annoying behaviors and just sits there and takes it... Kind of like an annoying little sibling who keeps poking you and saying, "are you annoyed yet, are you annoyed yet, are you annoyed now?". Well that was my experience growing up with a younger brother anyway...

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

I have to say that Rocket makes me think of my Cotton....an unstoppable yes irritating lad...however your Comet is much more tolerant than Kona is!!!
I do have to say that Cotton has some kind of hound in him and he does barks that turn into high pitched baying, singing, I don't know what the heck, but, yikes, my ears hurt !!! He can hit some glass shattering tones !!!

Kona was diagnosed Memorial Weekend 2010 with osteosarcoma.
Right rear leg amputated on June 4th. First chemo June 18th 2010
Second chemo July 9th, 2010 Third and final (yea !!!) chemo July 30th, 2010

Cotton, 5yrs, albino hound/terrier of somesort/???(abandoned in mts as a puppy) deaf & blind in one eye(from birth), excellent vision in seeing eye. (ball addict…destroyer of Kong balls…yes,etc), high energy 55lbs knots of muscle)
Kona Kai's pup brother and sister as well as her buddy and playmate cat, Shaymous 12yrs (like Seamus), miss her terribly.
