We have been trying to get a good photo of Gus and Murphy for our Christmas card. So far we are not meeting with much success, as Murphy doesn't think he should have to dress up and Gus shouldn't either. We call this one "NO HATS!!!"
Now I have to figure out what I am doing wrong with Photobucket. The options, as they say, have changed.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Murphy has that look in his eye like he's about one second away from using that hat like a sling shot!!!
Heck yeah! We could see this picture a dozen times and laugh harder each time...almost as hard as Murphy teacing you the Granny Bump!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Adorable!! I think that would make a perfect Christmas card! We also tried to get pictures for Christmas cards over the weekend..... we too had some of the same problems. Antlers weren't even left on long enough to snap a picture! But then we moved onto to Christmas lights and hilarity ensued!
Those were the only usable ones, all the others included blurry pups, falling lights and a laughing mom lol.

Domino had his left front leg amputate on May 13th 2014 after being hit by a car. He's now living a happy healthy life on three legs :)

I love this thread. Every year we do our Christmas photos it turns into a big ordeal. This year Hank tore Blinks collar off and Blink laid down and roached and wouldn't get up. First one is Blink and Maggie all lite up and second is this years after several attempts.

Awwww....it's so good to see sweet Maggie....she's such a beautiful soul! She and Blink make a lovely Christmas tree all lit up!!
And this year's picture....especially knowing the back story.....PERFECTION!!!! The expression on Blink's face....I do believe that is a huge smile he jas going on over there! And Blink, you are looking a little ticked off!! But you BOTH are very handsome dogs! And you have a pair of very attractive humans holding you in place!!!
