Hi everyone;

You know how you have that overwhelming desire to get that "perfect" picture, but your patience starts running thin? And since I have very little patience to begin with, this was a lesson in sucking it up, and continuing on till that perfect picture happened.....Of course, I think both Pearl and Zuzu were a bit impatient themselves, which gave me what I wanted, ALL perfect pictures!!

So we want to wish all moms here, moms to human and furry kids, a Happy Mother's Day, and that everyone's day was full of happy and not sorrow or sadness....Ours was a bit unhappy, one of my breeders of my current Lab girls, both Zuzu and Pearl, passed away yesterday after a very short battle with the ugly c......Just hope she has all the Labs, and every breed and mixed breed imaginable, to play with now....R.I.P Carol......

Carol must jave had quite a joyous group of pups awaiting her arrival! Even though she wasn't Polly's breeder, I'm sure Polly was the leader of the welcoming committee! She wanted ro be sure and thank her for bringing Pearl and Zuzu into your life!

Bonnie, these pictures are PRECIOUS!!! Talk about the perfect Mother's Day lresent....spot on!!! The expresssions, especially in the first photo, sooooo cute! And then the different ways those two are holding their ears makes me laugh!!

I'm so glad you shared these with us today. We need MORE!!! You don't let us see enough of these two and they are just so darn cute! Zuzu is growing sp fast! She looks great!! Cannot wait to meet these two in lerson at THE pawty!!

Love to you and your delightful Pearl and Zuzu!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thank you Sally, I know Polly is watching over us, and ironically, both Pearl and Zuzu are exhibiting a few habits of Polly......it actually warms my heart so much when I see Pearl's sweet gentleness that I know she learned from Polly, and Zuzu's sudden inability to go up our back deck steps.....that was a Polly trademark for sure.

Glad you like the pics, both of the silly first 2 were pics of Pearl and Zuzu being caught in mid bark....they were so funny, I laughed so hard! And I promise to do a better job at taking more pics and posting them. I do have to let you know, though, that we decided to only bring Pearl with us to the Pawty......with the hotter than usual weather we are having, I don't want to risk the health of Zuzu with her heart valve defect...her cardiologist advised against her being ourside in hot weather for very long, only to potty and not much else. She has had a few issues already with the heat that has put a scare in me, I have no way of keeping her cool the majority of the time while being outside at the picnic. I will bring many pics and videos of her on my phone, though.....

I am so looking forward to meeting you, and so many others!

Much love,

Bonnie, Angel Polly, and new crew

Wow...little Zuzu sure has grown!!!  Her and Pearl together in the pics are totally adorable!!!

Sorry to hear about your friend/breeder.  I have no doubt she was welcomed by many pups and kitties...and right there in front was sweet Polly!

Hugs

WOW.... Zuzu has grown ... a lot!!! She's beautiful and Pearl, as always, is pretty!!! I love the one with the windblown ears...

So sorry to hear about your friend... that is awful. I hate C.... hate, hate, hate!!!

If you only knew how many photos of little JL I have to take before I get the "perfect" shot .. however I will say, she's a tad better than Shelby ... probably because I don't expect much from JL since she rarely smiles (aka resting bitch face) and her ears only have one main position (up)... I would have to coax Shelby to put her ears into "Jack Russell" pose ...

Hugs and LOVE~~~

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Thank you, Alison, Sahana, and Sally again, you all have the sweetest things to say, and yeah, Zuzu surely is getting big....She is now a bit larger than Pearl, but still weighs less, she is very leggy and lanky. Thanks for the lovely thoughts in regards to Carol, my breeder friend, and I have to agree, cancer just sucks......And Alison, I have to always laugh at your reference to Jasper's resting bitch face! I've started to say that in some of my circles of friends and I always get a double and triple "say what??!!" I just keep laughing........!

Love to you all,

Perfection!! I want to hug their necks! I cannot seem to get all 3 of mine still at the same time for a photo. One is usually showing his or her backend. I totally understand about not bringing ZuZu to the picnic. I am really considering not bringing Chandler for the same reason. i too am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. cancer certainly is an ugly beast. Funny you should bring up the resting bitch face, one of my daughters used that recently to describe someone that she used to think was grouchy, but instead just had a " resting bitch face" LOL love Pearl's ears. I am anxious to see her next to DARYL at the picnic, I see some similarities. He is small though, just about 45 lbs. Thank you for the smile! Lori, Ty & Gang

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
