Wow! The detail is incredible!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

I decided to put the paw print on my inner left ankle, just a bit higher than the ankle itself. For the head, it depends, I want it on my tigh, but the skin is not as smooth as I want LOL so I will ask the artist if the tattoo will look nice on that unflat surface, if not, will put it on my side rib cage.

The cat is hurting this morning…ouch… going to work a 12h shift, hope, no cat or dog will give me trouble today LOL I have to hold the pets and sometime, its hard..

I love it Tinsch!!! That is a great idea and great subtle coloring… I still want for Shelby but I want it on my ankle and I am terrified of pain!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Tinsch I love your tattoo and now I want three pawprints. Don’t know how or why it didn’t occur to me before – kinda obvious. Not sure when or where or even exactly what yet but it will happen.

Paula I love yours! maybe I can copy it? not Nitro’s name of course that would be silly.

As for my existing tattoo (geez, 16 years ago now, long before I got Isa) I’m not certain I can get a picture of it (upper gluteal/high hip) and even if I could I suspect it is more of me than any of you would want to see.

For those of you claiming cowardice and pain aversion, you will survive the experience, I promise. It hurts for such a short period of time – it’s totally worth it. The top half of mine is high enough to be just over a bony part but the lower half was, ummm, more padded. Definite difference between the two halves and I doubt I have the wherewithal for my ankle or other bony part and/or I’m way too old for visible tattoos.

Show no pain! Be More Dog ! I think I’ve heard that somewhere or other.

I just felt that the 3 paw prints were a must for me. feel free to copy! but to anyone talking about ankles: do not go there!! literally. do not. I have another tattoo on my ankle going around it to on top of my foot and let me tell you: I threw up after the session it was that painful.. (I mean, I survived, I still love the tattoo and if you go a liiiiittle higher towards the calf you should be fine and maybe I’m a whimp and maybe I’m just rambling…but ow!!)

🙂

So this friday is the D day for Novak’s paw print tattoo! The artist just gave me her drawing, its amazing! I ask her to “clean” the paw print that I took, made with just black ink and a sheet of paper and holding the leg, yep, wow, what a memory… She did an amazing job. What do you think?

YAY, Novak will walk with me, always! It was very painful, but lasted only 1h, so it was nothing. But, so far, this area is the worse, weird, cause the skin is ticker there than my arm…must have more sensitive nerves over there. Im really happy with the result, its better looking when you look at it from far. Its really red and inflammed, my cat was not red at all…so weird. Its finally done! YAY, one more to go this summer with the belgian head on my thigh and then, I think I will be good 😉
