Made a stop at Starbucks on our way to the dog park this morning, with our fingers crossed that Tanner would remember his manners. He must've channeled his inner Myrtle b/c he was the utmost gentleman at the window! He never even barked. So I had to post a video of Tanner enjoying his very first Puppuccino.

OMG ... I saw this on FB and I was going to comment... you need to show this to Sally and voila .. you did! LOVE it! I think I'll need to get Jasper one of those sometime soon. Maybe she'll hate the car less if she knows sometimes we go to Starbucks! 🙂

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Haha! Great minds think alike, thats the main reason I posted it here. We have GOT to get Sally a Facebook page! I was hoping that the puppuccino would help Tanner too, or at least distract him while we made our way 2 miles down the road to the dog park. Mission accomplished (the little booger will do anything for food). You have to take a video of Jasper having one. Heck, we could start a thread of just dogs enjoying a pup cup haha.

Heh heh! Too cute! Yeah food distractions are truly heaven-sent. As you know we're all about that here with Wyatt.
I think Myrtle has started a huge trend here. Surprised Starbucks' marketing department hasn't come up with something yet.

One of my favorite parts is listening to the slurping sounds Tanner makes comlared to Merry Myrtle...he's almost dainty compared to her slime filled gulps!! And yes Tanner, I mean "dainty" in the manliest way!!
Okay, we need more videos!!! This is a Starbucks commercial in the making....and I'm gonna get a donation out of them for the Tripawds Foundation !! However thst song goes thst I can't get out of my head (thanks Michelle!)......."Don't believe just watch!!!"
Okay,I know what I'm about to share is way off subject (sorta'). I also know .many of you are "open" to "Universe stuff" and putting out the "intention " (RIP Wayne Dyer). Sooo...I was having a conversatiin with our dear friend Stirling/Tahoe awhile back. We were discussing "options".. I mentioned I had to leave it up to the Universe as I was "all out of options" on the discussion we were discussing. He said.... somewhat half heartedly, maybe you could contact Starbucks about using Merry Myrtle in a commercial. 
Okay....get ready for this.....a short while later duriing Myrtle's Tuesday Starbucks trip, there actually was a marketing person in tne store when she came trough the drive thru one day!!! The staff called him over and he couldn't stop laughing. He had me drive through again so he could film it....took my name and number and all that good stuff! Who knows, maybe Merry Myrtle will be the next Starbucks Spokesdawg!
Regardless, I'm gonna pursue a donatiin from them for Tripawds Foundation

I tell ya' what, the emotions of this journey, as you know, can really be tough. But our moments of fun and laughter and kinship make it all bearable!

Oy!!!! OK ... Jasper and I are going to Starbucks tomorrow and I'll video her. Do you just ask for a "puppy latte " - will they know what i mean? Like the secret menu at In N Out? Jasper will LOVE it (if she's not scared of it).
And I think it's great that Merry Myrtle will be a spokes-dawg! That would be too cool!!! Famous pooch! Jasper got her taste of fame last week when she was featured (sort of) in an e-newsletter for local LA events. Too funny.
And if anyone can get a donation from Starbucks, it will be you Sally! I would love to see some big companies come on board as supporters ... I am sure the foundation has corporate sponsorship in mind already but seeing it happen will be so amazing!!!

It's really interesting what Tanner's video has sparked and after reading everyone's responses, plus a recounting of my "Universe stuff", it was like, "What the heck else are you waiting for? Oh my gosh! One more though! Somewhere in our Virginia Tripawds archives we have a video of the dogs drinking their puppy latte our of the Starvucks cups . Maybr Wyatt Ray was in that. I'll go search and see what I can find.

You are right Sally, they did have starbucks cups and Roscoe is even in that video I think. Ha! I can't wait to see the videos, this is so much fun.

Alison, Eric literally ordered "a cup thing for the dog" and they got it. Haha. They call them Pup Cups, Puppuccino's, Puppy Latte's etc.
