This may be a stupid question but I started to notice that when Maya meets other dogs or see her old doggy friends, all of them smell her incision pretty hard. Does anyone know why and do you experience the same thing with your dog?
There are no stupid questions here, I promise!
Has she been bathed since surgery? If not she could still have that "vet clinic smell" on her incision area. Try bathing the area and see if that helps.

She has bathed twice already. I wonder why they go straight to the spot where the surgery was done
Guessing they are still picking up the scent of the incision with their extraordinary sense of smell. Even though it's been about five weekish since surgery, it probably still smells like a wound to them. Plus, there's the visual of less fur, etc.

Dogs have a great sense of smell. I suspect your dog's pack and friends are trying to determine what is going on. It's probably a good idea to stop any dogs from licking the wound. As this article discusses, dogs use their nose to communicate: https://wagwalk.....pen-wounds
