Well we just wanted to let you all know we are still doing great. We don't post much about us but do comment a lot.
Sassy is doing great. She started eating an actual dog food. Merrick chicken with brown rice & peas. She still gets her hamburger, goats milk & yogurt but at I feel 100% better that at least she is eating a little dog food. It maybe only abou 1/4 -1/2 2x a day but she is still eating food (and not just people food LOL)
Oh other than the heat & humidity slowing us down a little we still love our rides and are still running etc. But who doesn't the heat & humidity slow down.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.
"You aren't doing it TO her, you are doing it FOR her. Give her a chance at life."
Sassy you just make everyone around here so proud and inspire everyone! You are showing everyone what a true champion and fighter you are!! KEEP IT UP! You are showing everyone around here that there is no reason to EVER give up! Never lose hope!

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Sassy, you beautiful girl you. That pic makes me want to give her a hug. I'm so glad to hear all is well...and eating dog food too! My girls get Merrick as well. Sometimes I'll buy Merrick grain free canned just for a little somethin' somethin' to add on top.

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Sassy is looking good Michelle. I'm so pleased she is doing well. She is a wonderful inspawration.

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Oh Michelle, I'm so glad to hear such wonderful news! You deserve it and Sassy Sugar bear deserves it!
I don't think you really understand all of the different ways you are so valuable to all is us! We just marvel at how Sassy just keeps on defining how she is living her life based on her own terms! Your rock Sassy! You rock Michelle! And together you are rocking the tripawd world in a way that gives us all so much hope!
You are creating your own version of how to kick butt without any preconceived restraints of fitting I to someone else's pigeon hole of what statistically should happen!
You are paving the way ad creating your own path.....a path that you've opened up for others to follow
Michelle, when I first came into the site, you, as well as so many other kind souls, shared such wisdom, calm, support, empowerment ad knowledge, all the while going through your own challenges with Sassy. You are always so supportive of everyone here. I'm a better tripawd family member and pretty darn good at being dog (for the most part anyway) by following your example and Sassy's example!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh Michelle what a beauty that Sassy is, I just want to squish that big smiley face and cover her with smooches! So happy to hear she's doing so well. Atlas eats the same Merrick dog food and loves their can food as well. Sassy is such a tripawd warrior and an inspiration to us all. And you are so supportive of this community. Thanks for being here!

Thanks everyone. She is my total love. She actually slept with me part of last night. Would have been the whole night if her brother (Bosch) hadn't woke her up at 3am because he needed outside.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
