I don't know what got me thinking about this, but the other day I came up with these:
Sadie is "Hopping Bear", and her sister, the Retriever mix who still has her spare leg, is "Dances with Stuffing" (some day I'll post a picture of an ottoman we used to have and you'll know what I mean)
Who's next?
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

i think gayle is 'naps on sofa'....
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Back in Jerry's hiking days we were searching for a trailhead in the Marble Mountains when a local told us the meaning behind a street name we were looking for. "Sniktaw" he said, "Ya know that's an old indian name." He added with a smile, "Means Watkins spelled backwards!"
But I digress... Wyatt's native name may as well be Never Minds sometimes. Jerry might be Soars With Angels now, but may have been known as Chief Smiles In Peace during his days on the road, though we just always called him the Chief Fun Officer of our home based business.
While we're on the Native American topic, I just have to share the inspiration behind our Tripawds humorous t-shirts featuring punchlines from some favorite three legged dog jokes for anyone who missed it – An Ojibwe and Choctaw walk into a bar...
