Gator and I don't post much these days. I still feel like I should have a three dog household, but am missing two dogs. But I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and know that you are all in my thoughts!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
Christine!! So good to "hear" from you! Otis' banner has come up for me twice today! Not that I'm on the site much myself. You do know there is a way to cure the "three dog household that only contains one" right?
Happy holidays to everyone from my fur tribe as well! (below is this year's holiday card)
Holding all of you in my heart and wishing everyone the bestest in the new year!
Hugs
Teri, the Roxinator, and Angel Isa
Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.
Happy Holidays to you Gator and the kitties Christine! Holidays are tough for a lot of people your not alone!
Seems to be a time when everyone is happy & celebrating or mourning losses. We can hope for the in-between! Otis & Tess you will always carry in your heart!
Stay warm and cuddle gator and the kitties and maybe a tripawd is in the near future 😉
Did you see this by chance ?
Adoptable Abbey Awaits an Awesome Family
Love the card Teri!

Christine! I've been thinking about you lately! We miss you! Happy Holidays to you and your pack too! I know you know the cure for a one pack that at the very least could be a two pack ! Gator might love having a younger brother or sister. Maybe the New Year will be full of new surprises for you, Gator and kitties??
Thanks for checking in! Hoppy Holidays indeed...
There have been many holiday greetings posted in the Tripawds News blog over the years, but for anypawdy who may have missed it this one from "Dog Bless Us Everyone!" remains a long time favorite...

Good to hear from you, Christine! Wishing you, Gator and all the family, a wonderful holiday season
Love the card, Teri, and Admin Guy too
I'm sure precisely no one will be surprised to hear that Meg and Elsie have been busy creating their own seasonal offering.
Happy Holidays to all!

Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
Unfortunately Adoptable Abbey does not like cats and is looking for a young female companion. Not a fit (but yes, I read her post through multiple times to see if she changed her mind about the cats).

Those are pawsome pictures This holiday season seems to be flying past me. I don't know where the time goes anymore. My biggest wish is for everybody to have a happy healthy Christmas season and New Year, and for all that travel to be safe.

Merry Christmas Everyone. Hope everyone has a joyous season. I know some are still grieving but remember even though our furrybabies aren't here in their Earthly clothes they are still with us.
Thank you for sharing your Christmas Cards. I may eventually get ours posted LOL.

Merry Christmas Tripawd Family!
Teri! I picked the same Christmas card! If only I could figure out how to post a picture on the forums, I'd share - it turned out pretty pawsome.
Good to hear from you Christine. Wish upon the Christmas star, maybe a new friend will find their way to you. For the first time ever I'm pondering a 3 dog household - only John doesn't know it yet 🙂
Happy holidays and many season's blessings to everyone!
Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro (and earthly buds, Kodi and Grizz)
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
"Be good, mama loves you".....run free my beautiful Warrior

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
I've really gotten bad about Christmas cards the past couple of years, there just never seems to be enough time!
This has been a hard year for us. Between losing Murphy and watching Cassie go downhill, it's just so hard. I miss Murph every day, as you can imagine, he was special. Max is my sweet boy and Cooper brings lots of joy (and exasperation! lol), but I often feel on the verge of tears. The cats still haven't quite adapted to Cooper being here, but it's a work in progress.
Many of you may not know, but Cassie has degenerative disc disease & arthritis in her back. It's harder and harder for her to walk. We've don't all kinds of therapy with her - medications, laser, acupuncture, laser acupuncture & electronic acupuncture and we tried the water treadmill but she's not bending her knees. She's gotten to where she doesn't walk with her back legs at all and only gets around if we are carrying her with the help 'em up harness. She does like to go for walks in the wagon, when there's no snow on the ground, and we just got a cart for her, but we had to order longer struts & larger wheels for it so she hasn't tried it yet. When she does, I'll post a video or something. Getting old just sucks
I do try to scroll through the forums a little bit when I can.
I hope you all have a great holiday!
Hugs from the Hansen's!
