Just wanted to pop in to wish our Mighty Atlas a Hoppy 16 month ampuversary and share a funny pic.  I figure we can always use something to make us smile, right?  Atlas is doing great, the monthly acupuncture is still working its magic for him.  After giving Dr. W loads of kisses he lays down right in front of him and assumes the position.  It's been a year now, so it's become quite routine.  When the needles have done their job he stands up and shakes to let us know he's finished.  It's really quite amazing to witness his behavior.

It's been busy around the farm with goats kidding and milking production starting up again.  Not to mention a busy art studio getting ready for huge exhibition opening the 27th of this month.  AND the book has kept us the most busy but is finally due to print Oct 1st.  I think we are going to take several months off afterwards to just chill with the all the furkids. clap

Happy 16 month Ampuversary Atlas!!!! clapclapclapclapclapclap

You are looking AWESOME and I just want to give you a kiss on that adorable face!

And the chair pic is great....I really need to show this to my husband because when Leland was a pup he drug my husband's recliner across our basement and proceeded to RIP out the front.  And not to mention eating his way through the basement carpeting from one end of the room to the other.  He was definitely a character!

Well, Congrats Atlas and I wish you many more Ampuversaries!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh Atlas! There you are! It's GREAT to see your handsome face and know that life is treating you SO GOOD! Talk about defying EVERYTHING anyone ever said about big dogs and wobblers and being a Tripawd..you broke the mold my friend!

Ok, so your people are writing a book? Remind me what is it about? I'm having a brain fart!

P.S. LOVE that pic of the couch explosion! We knew a Weim, Winston, who used to eat couches. He tried to blame it on Jerry once when all of the humans went away and left them alone. We all knew the truth though, that Weim was one neurotic dude!

Thanks everyone! Life is treating us all very good and I wake up every morning and with an attitude of gratitude because all I need do is look at that miracle Mighty Atlas and I'm just covered in joy that he has beat the odds and continues to do so good. University of Georgia called for permission to use him as one of their success stories on calendars and posters. We are proud pawrents!

Jerry, thanks for asking, the book is an art/history book on my husband and his family. His father, uncle and grandparents escaped from Russia during Lenin's rule and the revolution. Coming to America in 1922 and launching successful careers as artists they painted murals for the Russian Tea Room and many others including portraits of Clark Gable, Vivian Leigh and other MGM actors. The book is written and published by Morton publishing but it's been a long year of photographers, writers and editors coming and going. I'm just so excited to finally see the end product as it's been my biggest business goal to accomplish for many years.

I also just finished building the new website: http://www.Chat.....Studio.com

Have a great weekend!!!

PATRICIA! I LOVE THAT THE MIGHTY ATLAS WILL BE PROUDLY REPRESENTING TRIPAWDS AND WHAT THE FACE OF VICTORY LOOKS LIKE on their calendar!!!!!!clap

Can't wai to see it!!!

AND...can't wait to order your art history book! Years ago I had lunch at The Russian Tea Room with Cleveland Amory, an author and animal activist, and was in awe of the art, among other things!! AND....he was very aware of some of the back story on the art work! Little did I know years later I would be sharing a journey on Tripawds with a relative of one of the artists!!! WOW!!! CRAAAAAAZY!!

One more little aside for ya'. My Aunt and Uncle sarted The Women's Museum of Art (or Women's Art Museum...something like that) in Washington D.C.

When I place my order, I shall order two books...one for me, one for them.

I have a f avor toask! Do you mind posting that BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE your husband painted of you and The Mighty Atlas? We would love to see it again. There are so many new people who have never seen it and would be so touched by it.

Thank you Patricia!!! Such an incredible story of inspiration and hope!!!

I agree Karen, would make a great t-shirt.  Maybe after I finish all the current projects.

Sally, how cool is that!  We are 6 degrees of Tripawds separation!  LOL!

Would be thrilled to post our portrait, thanks for asking.  Title:  "Two hearts beat as One"

Also some cute additions to the photo line up...... twin does born one hour ago.  Atlas is very excited for the goat milk yogurt to come back.
