So this is our first title achieved on 3! So proud of my boy, being a tripawds didn't change anything about his temperament, drive, work ethic, joy. Hoping for many more!
Massive congratulations! I was just reflecting on what a hard recovery Novak had. It makes this victory even more momentous.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That's fantastic!! Congrats! Same question as Sally though: is that for nose work?
I wish we could still do this, Manni was a star at that but for a front amp it's just gotten too difficult. Glad that Novak still gets to do it!!

Osteo and amputation in Dec 2015. Second, inoperable, primary osteosarcoma found in June 2017.
The end of our adventures came Dec 10, 2017. 2 years to the day.
LOL thanks everyone! Yes it is for scent detection. The club didnt have their rubans when we did our title 2 weeks ago so I just received it. Sad that I couldt have it the same day and take a picture with the judge.
Im looking at the picture and because his hair is so long, sometime, doesnt show that he's on 3. Maybe thats why the judge didnt notice until the end of the competition LOLOLOL

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

You know, I noticed the same thi g when looking at that photo! If I hadn't known about the amputation, I would not have noticed he has three legs!! And the Jidge didn't notice teil the end??? WOW!!!! Looooove that! 🙂 🙂 🙂

No the judge didn't notice, crazy eh? You didn't see my post with video of the trial? We had 4 search and by the 4th the judge said to me, Oh, I though he was limping, but no, he's missing a leg LOL I said, what, you didnt see that?? Its obvious! LOL so funny.

Yes, sometime, I think about it, and a date was set to put him down!!! Imagine that! The amputation part was fine, no problem there, but the oesophagus problem because of the surgery, wow, that was tough! Im so happy that he's fine and alive, he's gonna be 6 june 19, still so young, hoping to have many years with my boy!
Bravo Voodoo. You look beautiful with your ribbon. I'm sure both you and your mom worked hard to achieve this. You are a great model for other tripawds who are looking for ways to have fun.
