Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

... those are actually two islands, although you can only see one right now ...

... they are called Isles de Lerins and are absolutely stunning and virtually construction free ...

Since you both enjoy breaking rules and get away with it, I suggest you spend the night at the beach. Bring your sleeping bag, snacks, water, some cash, identification and Pedro to stand guard. If you are accused of being homeless or vagrants you can prove you have a home address and money. Have the Poet Police officer on speed dial - he'll vouch for you. Then enjoy the sunset, a midnight snack, a good snooze, the sunrise, and then off to a cafe for cafe-au-lait, beignets, cheese and ham! What stories you will tell back home!

Yeah, you see Auntie Evelyne tomorrow! She will be so happy.

Well what a joy, Eurydice, to catch up on your splendiferous travels. Else, Meg and I have been sitting together, watching your adventures unfold before us, truly you are our very own magic carpet, whisking us to one amazing paradise after another. Loved seeing you flying in the forest and your are so in your majestic element on the beach, enjoying the sunset. Most of all, I love the incredible bond you share with your Mum, every day a celebration of your joy in each other. Have a saucisson on us!
