And I had to take my pills and have my lunch so Mom found a nice shade and fed me and we both stayed there for a while enjoying the lovely breeze before getting back on the road

And now, after an 800 km ride, I am finally nicely settled in the hotel in Tarbes, France.

I will dream about the time I spent in Portugal, all the family and friends I met and made, I am sooooo happy !

And you know what?

Most people don't even notice I have 3 legs winker some of them even mention to Mom that I am "limping" and Mom always laughs and says "have you counted the legs?"

And I laugh too !

Life is so much fun clown

So now you've got me in tears too. This is so moving, I cannot stop the tears streaming down my face. I've been waiting to see Eurydice with her birth family, but I could never have imagined such a beautiful place (well actually it does make sense that she would come from such a place). Seeing her with her parents and sister, and new friends like little Cali too is just wonderful.  I LOVE the 'being given to the light' expression. Just love that. And you have kept that light shining so strong and bright, Teresa. So strong and bright....

Sending love to you both, and thank you for posting so many wonderful pics and vids. We have been waiting for them...

What a wonderful trip this has been, for Eurydice and for you.   A lifetime of memories and connections!  What a blessing that you were able to do this together (and perhaps, that Eurydice's cancer encouraged you to embrace this opportunity)!

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

WOW..... I just get more and more goosebumps when I read this post ... so amazing!

Question though ... did you rent a car for your journey? Because aren't you from England and you all drive on the opposite side and therefore most of the car is reversed... I just thought of that when I saw Eurydice laying / lounging in the trunk area! 🙂

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Hi there sweet friends 💗💗💗

Clare, you are such a beautiful person, so lovely you are so in tune with us I feel our hearts are really close 💞 and you are so kind 🌹🌹🌹to me and my baby girl 🐮

Eurydice was so lucky to be born in Marcos and Alvaro's family and I am so lucky she came to be part of my life too, it was love at first sight for both of us 🏹💘

Christine I so admire and look up to you 🌷

Despite of the tragic loss of your two babies you continue to spread love and encouragement, I so feel you are there for all of us 💝

Eurydice and me, just like Kinky before her, always had the travel bug 🚗💨💨💨 and have been all over Europe, mostly on our own, for the past 10 years, you are so right, there's a lifetime of happy memories we shared and still share 💕💕💕

Sally, you are a wonderfully bright star shining on all of us🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love your humour and your kind spirit 🌸🍃 you are full of love and a HUGE example to all of us, even bigger than Eurydice's Dad 😂

You have a very spiritual approach to our passage in this world, more and more I, too, come to understand that we are here to learn to be better human beings and our fur babies are the best teachers 🐶🐱💞

Jerry what can I say about you 😍?

We all learnt from your example and look up to you 💫 you've shown us life is worth living (and happy and fun!) even when fighting cancer on 3 legs ☀️👊🏾

You truly are our personal hero 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Linda we are really honoured to have you on board with us 🚙💨💨💨💨💨

Eurydice is so thankful for your kind words and so am I 🌹🌹 just wish we could all get our packs together and hop around the globe holding paws 🐾🐾🐾 and spreading the Tripawd message around 📡 💌

And what about Shelby and Jasper's Mom 💘

Me and Eurydice love you ♥️♥️ and are so, so, so, so happy to share our trip with you 💕💕💕

As for the 🚙 no, I haven't rented a car, we are traveling with a right hand driven car 😜

I've driven the wrong way for so long it's no sweat now 😉

I also took my left hand driven car (when I lived in Portugal) to the UK so I've tried it all 😝

Sending you all an avalanche 🌬🌬🌬🌬🌬of kisses and cuddles to your sweetie pies 💗💗💗🐾🐾🐾
