We went to Lisbon today and met Mario, he has had 2 Danes amongst his pack and is now the proud Dad of Igor, a gooooooorgeous Afeghan Hound who has lymphoma and is doing very well and trying a new cut edge treatment at Faculdade de Medicina Veterinaria in Lisbon.

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Hey Sally 💗

Yup, Eurydice is a real sugar pie 🍰 and luuuurves to meet new people 💘

This has been such a great trip so far ☀️💖 and still so many old friends to meet again and new friends to make 👨‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍👩

Off to Porto tomorrow morning, Eurydice's breeders Marcos and Alvaro plus her Mom, Dad and Sisters are all waiting 💕🐮🐮🐮🐮

We'll take off to their country home in Mirandela (inland towards Spain) for the weekend, it is quite remote so no network connection there.

We'll be trimming edges and mowing the grass so it should be fun, what, with Eurydice's help 😆 it should all go smoothly 🎯

Monday morning we're heading to France, will stay on the way overnight and will hit the South the next day 🚙💨💨💨💨💨💨

Eurydice is excited to move on 💞💞

Sending you lots and lots of love and tons of cuddles to your sweetie pies 😘😘😘💕💕💕🐾🐶🐶

Well I suppose we mustn't begrudge Eurydice a visit to her family (hmmm) but the news that there's no network connection in Mirandela is very hard to stomach. I NEED MY EURYDICE FIX 😳😳😳

You will have to promise LOADS of pics and vids of Eurydice with her family as soon as you are back online. I CAN'T WAIT to see those.

It's going to be a loooooooooong weekend sad

Seriously, Teresa, have fun. And lots of love to you and Miss Magnificence xxxxxx
