I would like to introduce everyone in Tripawds to the newest member of our family. Baby Samson arrived last Saturday October 22nd at our household. It is our hope that Samson although being a quadpawd might be welcomed into the tripawd group, some of the members believe him to be a monkeybutt, but he has been a pretty good boy so far and the way he is behaving indicates that Angel Cooper has been guiding puppy Samson along the way. We had so hoped that Cooper would be here to greet the new arrival, as most of you know Cooper left us on August 5th, 2011. We were notified of Samsons upcoming birth on the very night Cooper left us. Samsons first puppy visit to the vet was Wednesday October 26th, which was the one year anniversary of Coopers ampuversary. We decided on the name Highlander Braveheart Samson for his long AKC name - Highlander being the kennel he was from and Brave heart being a strong memorial for my warrior Cooper and all the other tripawd warriors that are battling cancer or have already lost that battle as Cooper did.Image Enlarger

Oh I also wanted to add that the decision for the name Samson was three fold, number one after Samson in the bible and 2 and 3 in honor of two tripawd friends that really inspired us during Coopers journey... Elizabeths smiling Sammy and of course Monkeybutt Samson007 ... all 3 being very strong and brave figures

He's too cute. And, yes, he should definitely be an honorary 4 legged tripawd, because we don't need any more of that monkeybutt business around here!

Abby sends him some kisses,

Jackie

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. I always wondered how they gave AKC names, because some of them are so flippin' obscure. But I love Baby Samson's name and how you chose it... He's a little fluffy bundle of puppy love, for sure. And we certainly don't need any more Monkeybutts!!! way-confused

Oh man, what a face. I can see he is going to be alot of fun to have, I like your theory on names, Big Paws Up to Samson, Spirit Gus and Dan

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

It is the highest honor for Sammy to be included in your decision of names, we are so very touched and smiling through happy tears, big sweet happy tears to see his beautiful face!

This is going to raise the hair on your arms a little, once again we think alike.  One of our all time favorite movies around here is Braveheart.  Any time it comes on it is a must see.  I have dreamt I would have a boy dog named William Wallace.  I LOVE YOUR Sammy's name, it means the world to us!!!

I am completely in love with your Sammy's face too, Oh how I would love to plant a kiss on his head and ruffle his fur.  Please do that for me.   Coop is definitely a part of this, too many coincidences in time to think otherwise.

Lots of love for our newest quadpawd member, long may he rein!

Oh my, he is already bigger than pugapalooza!!

I am so happy you have a tail wagging in your household again. Nothing heals like puppy fur...... and accidents in the house, and chewed up furniture, and midnight potty runs, and.... laugh.

How fortunate we are to get to watch him grow up with you!  So more pics please!!
