I ran across this on FB posted by one of our members Tracy Cow Dog Maggie's mom.   I found it kind of interesting.

This first link is kind of an over view of the study and this 2nd link is the study

I know there has been a lot of talk on this subject on here.

Bery interesting Michelle.

I clicked on the ElleVet link too.  Couldn you tell if the study was FUNDED  by ElleVet?  It says they PROVIDED   the oil.

The Cornell report says good for osteoarthritis......hmmm....maybe something for Frankie.....  I could even do our own "vlind stidy" with Nurse Murtle's help !   Yeah , I really did say that 😨🤤

Hope you don't  mind, I added the link here to  a previous discussion  where Dr Pam chimed in.  I know Petra has some food info too on her ,threads.   And I added your thread to that thread, as you've  provided such a good link😎

LOVE this, thank you Michelle. It's nice to have solid research behind CBD for pets. I totally believe that it does work, as I've seen it help humans before, I'm just relieved to see the real science is coming in.

As for the legality of veterinarians discussing it and advising its use with patients, the article gave lots of hope in that department too. Yay!

Hi guys!!!! I didn’t read the article yet but CBD does work for people and animals.  We all use it here.  I fell in love with it so much that I started selling it. I wish that I had this back when I had Marshall and Hallie. They both could have benefited so much from it.  How’s everyone been?

Everypawdy is doing great here! We have had Spikey, our 19yr old cat on CBD for close to two months now and he is doing fantastic on it! He is far more comfortable looking and he is sleeping more soundly. He is still King of the house enough to tell visiting puppies to back off and stay away from bugging an old man! He has is hungry all the time and is gaining weight little by little! Dr Laurie got to see him last week and is super impressed with his body weight and at how well he did at the vets! (It was so lovely to have the opportunity to meet our new vet with Dr Laurie doing the introductions!)

Unfortunately for Spikey, he has had to go in to the doctors (we got to meet our new vet, Dr Amber!) for a sore bottom. We got urine straight from his bladder and Dr Laurie did some tests and thankfully, there was no sign of infection! He did so very well! After getting all the swelling down from around his penis, we have discovered that He has a tiny lump and we are going in again today to see what it may or may not be...🙏

Stewie was started on his program on May 8th and the best way for me to explain how well he is doing, is to explain that we have just had a house FULL of 4Dawgs, 4 Catsssss and 5 people! He played, he protected, he taught lessons to a puppy and he came down to the beach with us on the first day. And then just relaxed when we were away from him. He had no set backs what so ever. No stiffness of his neck and is sleeping soundly! As some of you know, Stewie has over done it in the past and has been crippled up for two to three days at a time. Not this time! There is another puppy we went to see on Monday, a very bossy Pitbull/Husky cross and with a little guidance from me, he did fantastic and the other dog got bored with bugging him and all was fine within no time at all!

Our new vet has been made aware of the doses that we are working on with both of our special fur babies and is thankfully, behind us all the way!

Much Ruvin from Super Stu, Spitfire Spikey, Chester McFiend, Prissy Miss Lily and No-Wandering-Ted!
