I sort of danced around this in our blog post earlier, but here's the official scoop.;)
I'd like to introduce Sovereign's Heart of a Lion at SamRock... call name Gryphon. Six weeks old, and he'll be here in a little less than two weeks. He's from Arkansas...so now Sadie will have someone to speak Southern at
No, he's not a polar bear, he's an akita I never thought I'd get a white akita...but that's the one the breeder picked for us. Probably good to have a guy so different looking from Sam...poor pup's going to hear "Sam never did that" about eighty bajillion times :p ah, the perils of being the youngest.
I don't know if that pic will work. I'm on a stupid ipad, and can't get to the HTML/text tab...

Yay I am so happy for you Meghan. Oh don't worry I said that about a bazillion times in the chat room . Sassy never did that. Sassy was easy to potty train. Rene had to remind me that Snickers is her own dog. Not everyone is a Sassy she was one of a kind. But I do see a lot of Sassy in her. Maybe that's why we picked each other
I am happy for you lots & lots of pictures
Hugs

ADORABLE!!!!So happy for you! I think I hear Sam grumping about keeping that piece of fluff clean . Makes me want to smell that puppy breath.
Congrads!
Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Oooh Oooh Oooh
PUPPY! I wanna hold him, and squish him, and name him George! (Sorry, Bugs Bunny reference). He is adorable. Congratulations. Can't wait to hear all the stories.
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.
You can read their stories at http://adelaide.tripawds.com and http://brendol.tripawds.com
Oh, yes! Puppy breath and little paws that smell lke soda crackers. He is absolutely adorable! Congratulations Megan. We are all so happy for you.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Good doG almighty!! I'm crying again!! I don't think my ticker can take the ups and downs of this site!! But boy oh bh, the UPS are glorious!!
And Megan, Napoy Hannah had the "dream".....the message from Sam on your blog!! If THAT isn't a validation that Sam had his paw in this, notning is!!
Okay, is it really "SamRock"? Realy?
Dn't tell me the enrgies of our loved ones floating around in the Universe don't have influence on our thoughts...and hearts!!
No, Gryphon isn't a Polar Bear.....could be a little white bunny though!
I'm overjoyed for you!
Toasting to puppy breath and balding old dogs!

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Congrats Megan! I admire the energy you people have to take in a puppy! Obie wore me out as a four year old .
Oh- and I think Obie must have thought 'Maggie' was part of his name. "Maggie never did that.... Maggie learned that way faster... Maggie was queen of the world and you have no hope of moving up in the pack...." you know, that kind of stuff .
Many, many pictures will be required.
Karen
Soo happy for you! Such a cutie!
Puppy kisses are the best! Good luck and I can't wait to see more pics!

We are never replacing our furkids... they are always in our heart.. and as I have said before.. when you love dogs, cats, animals... .. you have a heart big enough to open to more furkids. It would be a shame to keep those doors closed to future memories, laughs and giggles!!!
My aunt and uncle in Scotland, UK had Akitas for years!!!

Christine..... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.
