Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
PS. The one time I managed to get on here yesterday, Happy Hannah's banner came up as I was looking at the posts. She definitely was watching out for those two.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise
What great news! I had problems posting this morning and was running scenarios through my head. One was that someone stole them and the other was that Frankie took Myrtle for a run, Myrtle got sore and couldn't move, and Frankie wouldn't leave her.
They were very smart to pick a visible spot. I'm so happy for you, for all of us. We care for you Sally and your Frankie and Merry Myrtle.

WOW! What a way to find those two little adventurers, how amazing and wonderful that you were sent their way. I can only imagine the tails they will tell about this meandering mishap. YAAY!! Here's to a hoppy reunion, give them lots of smoochees from all of us!
P.S. Sally have you considered getting a GPS collar for those two? I think it's something to look into.

I just got off the phone with Sally. She wants to thank EVERYONE for all you have done the prayers, the sharing of the post on FB and the wishes and calls upon our Angels at the Bridge to protect & help guide them home.
We talked last night about areas that they could be and Karma helped us with Google Earth and mapped out where they had been seen. I sent the map to Sally and we went through different areas. We talked about a saw mill that was in the area Sally said she hadn't been that far yet. I told her to make sure to go there and hand out a flier someone may have seen them. On the way home she took another road and was going to stuff some fliers (the few she had left) in mail boxes. She saw something laying in the road in a big pile. She slowed down, stopped and got out of the car. She walked up and said "Frankie" he lifted his head. Myrtle didn't even look so she said "Myrtle" she lifted her head. Both hobbled to her. Frankie jumped in the car. She said normally she helps Myrtle but Myrtle jumped up on her own.
They both are very tired & sore but they are home in front of the fire and sleeping.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you all. I thank you for the prayers. I thank our Angels as I called upon them and God to protect Frankie & Myrtle. Most of all I thank my Friend of a lifetime Sally for not giving up. We know it was very hard on you but they are home safe & sound and with their mom. Sally we love you. You are a big part of this family when you hurt we all do. We are glad your babies are home where they belong

and kerren...that's kinda the scenario im thinking...Myrtle's really javi g a rough time walki g and im sure frankie couldn't do but so much after the firsr several hours of running crazy! They K EW to stay together a d I do feel @ike Frankie made sure he stayed with her.
Rene...you. an bet I'll be doing all sorts of safeguard thi gs.......like .aybe bobwire and razor fencing at the door he went barreling throuh. I can always climb in a window. I think I'll also duct tape ciinder blocks to his legs!
OMD....You think I look for excuses to ppst poctures before...........the Admin Guy will surely ban me!!
Just one more synchronicity thing.........ok...got a call last night from woman who saw it on facebooger...thought she saw a spotting of Myrtle...went out there...another false lead. HOWEVER, she said be sure that this particular man she told me about has a flier...because she thought she spotted her in his area. I knocked on tne door and delivered it in lerson...yeah, cryi g the whole time.
HE WAS THE SAME MAN WITH THE FALSE LEAD THIS MORNING THAT EVENTUALLY BROUGHT ME TO MYRTLE A D FRANKIE. PLUS...Michelle told me to make sure I put a flier at a certain spot (she and Karma were Earth Googling my location)...anyway...that was part of the Universe at work too! Just too much to expAin right now!!!

I didn't give up because you vuys wouldn't let me. Pooor Elizabeth and Michelle...they did so much to get the ball rolling and then all of you joined in. Michelle.....you know.
As I've said many times over, this site isnt "just about tripawds". It's a union of Souls who have bonded as a result of their dogs and cats being on this crazy journey. And none of us would ever know the depth of love and compassion we feel for each other, had it.not been for Jerry, Rene and Jim. No, Jerry's earthly journey was far more than walking in three legs.
