I'm very upset to hear this. I'm sure we all know how this feels. My cat Mona escaped from only a few days after her amputation and I did not find her for 24 hours.
What helped me the most were friends, co-workers, and neighbours. Radio stations, lost pet facebook pages and even a psychic were contacted. Not by me, by others. One of the best places was an organization called PetFinders, or some name like that. They gathered a group to go look for her. I even had someone coming over with a rat terrier to sniff her out but I found her - scared and hiding in a cupboard in my garage.
I'm sorry I can't be of any help due to distance but wanted to give some ideas that helped me. Sally, please rely on others to help you out and take care of yourself the best you can.
Love from Kerren and Tripawd Kitty Mona
I have a friend who's niece is a reporter for channel 12 and he sent her the info. She actually lives right by Sally and had seen the flyers. She has put them on her FB page and they are going on the news also. She is a big animal lover and has a tripawd currently. Her husband is out searching for them right now. Sally is a wreck and needs all the support she can get. Please keep all the prayers, positive vibes and thoughts coming.....it's working. Share, comment and like her post so it keeps going to the top of everyone's news feeds.

I can't imagine how worried you must be, Sally. It simply isn't possible that you won't find them. The world cannot be that cruel to you!

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise
Thank you Elizabeth! That will help a lot! I did a longer follow up e-mail to Curt this morning with Sally's info and told him how much she means to all of us and what a great human interest story this would be if we could get those furbabies home to their mom especially this time of year. Hope he at least reads it. Wonder if anyone has a tracking dog (bloodhound?) in the area to help with the search. Something to consider. Sally feed off us let us carry you with our strength for a while! We're right there by your side praying and willing them to be found!

FRANKIE and MYRTLE are HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A guy saw Frankie and remembered he was a tripawd, and he called Sally's number. She started driving around looking in the area and found the two of them laying in the middle of a side road. They are both ok. Frankie looks perfect and Myrtles joints are swelled up again...but they are HOME!!!!!
Sally expresses her gratitude to everyone and I'm sure she will be on here shortly!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Thanks to that Good Samaritan for remembering about Frankie! We can all sleep tonight! We have been so very worried. Our power was sporadic yesterday, but I checked Facebook every chance I got. Garry was sitting up with Ollie this morning, talking to him about Frankie and Myrtle. Those two will be "discussing" their big adventure for a long time to come.
We are all so happy that they are safe!
Kathi and the .Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Just got your email Sally and I had to jump on here quick. Tears streaming down my face as I write this! Hallelujah! Prayer does work! I BELIEVED you'd find them! What a Truly Blessed Thanksgiving you will have this year! Soooo happy here words can't express! Now REVEL in your happiness sweet Sally! Rest those tear swollen eyes and cuddle with those two.
Love You my Friend!

There are literally 7 people "browsing' this subject right now. That is how much we all LOVE you and your babies!!!! I consider myself spiritual and I was relying on prayers and spirits .... I just kept repeating ... they will come home.
Like Elizabeth said - that lead was meant to be! To find them!!!
I hope you ALL can sleep and get some rest. I am sure you have not slept (like most of us have not either)... This is truly a wonderful day!
