As many of you know, I have decided to get a front-wheeled cart for Cora. Because of all the custom work that's going to go into it I am thinking it will run about $1,000.00. I decided to do another donation drive. I figured half I could afford without putting me so deep into a hole I can't climb out. And then yesterday I had to replace all the tires on my car for the cost of $500.00. All I could think about is Cora's cart.

Today I got an email from Cora's previous foster.  I had emailed her and others asking them to spread the news about Cora's Cart fundraiser. She did and she has a friend who WANTS TO PAY FOR THE WHOLE THING!!!! I am so... amazed, thrilled, grateful and just... WOW.

I've been wanting to set up another appointment with her veterinary behaviorist. This means that the money I have already set aside for Cora can go to that. The vet behaviorist is not cheap but after the appointment she gives 6 months of free phone and email support and she's amazing. She's managing Cora's meds and I am hoping she can help with Cora's behavior on walks, potty training and her ability to "come" when called.

What a relief for you!  That's great news. :)

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13.  Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14.  She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self.  Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Great news!!

Joan and Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Just when you wonder where the good is, it shows itself! I am delighted for Cora all the way around and relieved for you, now that you don't have this to worry about.

Enjoy your new tires and take Cora and Floyd out for some ice cream!
