Yay Luanne. I love it. He is so cute. I can't wait to hear his name & see tons of baby pictures. I think Shooter did awesome. You know he is going to be showing this little guy the ropes from the Bridge. Sorry I don't have any names to add but these are good ones
Hugs

PUPPYYYYYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
grinning ear to ear here for you... how exciting.. fantastic.. and too dang cute!!!!!
For some reason.. Bentley came to my mind.. and isn't even a drink!!
Christine... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
I forgot how busy puppies keep you!! I am finally getting a chance to report that the new kid is home and (drum roll please....) he has officially been named "Goose". Both for Grey Goose Vodka and a reference to Top Gun (for those of you that know the movie). The other three are giving us the stink eye, but are slowly adapting.
The same day Shooter gave us Goose was the same day we heard that Shooter's final littermate and sister who looked just like him crossed over the Bridge. Just knowing that another generation has moved on made me sad and missing Shooter, but he blessed us with a new generation to love.
Here is a slightly fuzzy picture of the new kid on the block.
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Welcome home Goose!
I hope the new generation helps to heal your loss just a little.

Oh and he's absolutely adorable... I'm in love with him!!!! How cute is that face?!?! Smooches ....
Hugs and love and congrats!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Paws up on the name! Love that little fluffball, thanks for my puppy fix of the day!

All smiles over here!!!! Soooooo cute! And fluffball indeed!!
A dog named GOOSE!!! Loving it!!!!
Sorry to hear about Shooter's sister. Would that make her about fifteen? It is co.forting to know they are together. And I also find it a warm fuzzy that "they" gave you Goose the day she crossed over. Shooter knew you were ready, knew Goose was ready, and he has his siter to help watch lver everybody now! He knows it's a full time job!
Cznnot wait to follow the journey of Goose and see more pictures and videq!! We have a new family member!!!
Sending you love!!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Love Him!!! All of that fluffiness is making me want to get a puppy! Not now though, got a baby (a human one) on the way! Welcome to your new home Goose!!
Chance is a 10ish Shetland Sheepdog Mix who was rescued from the shelter in January of 2013 and diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in September of 2013. He had a front left amputation and 6 rounds of carboplatin. He had a great 11 months and was diagnosed with lung mets on 8/23/14. He was released to the bridge on 8/28/14.
Oh my gosh!!!! I want one!!!!! my husband would string me upBut really, he is just adorable. I just want to snuggle him right through the computer. I love the name Goose. My Corgi is named Lucy..Short for Lucille McGilicutty. You have to be an I Love Lucy fan to get it. I usually call her Lucy Goosy. I was going to suggest Patrone, but somehow it just did not seem right to stand outside and holler "PATRONE!!!!" So happy for you! Shooter you done good boy! Hugs from, Lori and TY
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
That is great news. And he is super cute. Good choice Shooter!
Karma, Adelaide and the crew, and our forever angel Brendol
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.
You can read their stories at http://adelaide.tripawds.com and http://brendol.tripawds.com

Luanne, what great news and another reason for giving thanks! We always have to give the men some room but when it's time, LOOK OUT!
Boodles is a great name, Jerry! But Goose it is. And very very VERY cute he is.
Congratulations to your pack, and great job to Spirit Shooter!

Hi Luanne, I'm sorry to hear about your sweet Shooter. It is nice to hear about some happy news on here, and it's a nice reminder of how much joy dogs bring to our lives. Welcome little one! Well, since you're a Montanan, how about Moose Drool, and you can call him Moose for short. : ) I also like Porter.
