It just thrills me to see my Blind RockStar Merry Myrtle and  Super Cool DawgTripawd Frankie having soooo mich fun.

Needless to say, it took sweet Myrtle quite awhile to "adjust" to being blind.  A sparkle showed up here and there.  Her xonfidence started building slowly.   And so grateful to see Frankie being Frankie (almost to a fault).  after a surgery on one rear leg, then a year later surferymon themother rear leg, then, most recently,  a surgery to remove the failed apparatus  on the first surgery.

Soooo....this is what a blind dog looks like with all her sparkle back and what a happy three-legged dog  (with lots of arthritis and  a couple,of surgeries  on two of the legs) looks like!

And yes, I did cringe as they got a little too rough sometimes and Myrtle would try and pin Frankie....nope, didn't  mean for that to happen.

Look how Myrtle tries to fool Frankie as she turns to go up the ramp...and then goes to,sneak attack him!  Of course, she thinks he can see her😉

Sprry, one more.  I just love see a dog enjoy a good back scratching  Happy roll fest.  Their gripawdness makes it all the cuter!😎

Thanks for indulging!

Hugs

Oh Sally, they look so happy! If I didn't already know I would of never know Myrtle was blind. That doesnt stop her one bit! And Frankie, oh my goodness! Brownie use to roll on his back and kick his legs up the same way. I am so happy they are doing ok after the treat feast!

Wouldn't you know, as soon as I clicked on your post up came Brownies banner. My heart jumps every time I see.

Your kids look so happy! You are such a great mom!

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

They are the absolute cutest!  Myrtle is so clever with her sneak attacks and I don't think anyone could tell from the videos she is blind unless they already knew.  And Frankie with his play bow and back scritches antics is such a handsome fellow.  Thanks for the videos - they are pure joy! ~ Stacy

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

OH my goodness.  I am so happy to see them playing 🙂  I know you have to hold your breath but he is doing great and Myrtle is doing awesome.  Good to see the sparkle there.

Stacy, yhank you  for yoir kind comments ❤ Very proud of everything  they've overcome👏

And thank you Michelle!!!❤  Getting that surgery on her beautiful  blind eyes to relieve the pressure is when her sparkle really started coming back.  She's a very lucky girl to have had help with that😉👍

Oh Sally! I can't tell you how this warms my heart! I can't believe how far they've both come! Everything you and they had to go thru was so worth it to see them play like this. Sooo happy for you!

This is so fun to watch!  They've come so far since I first met them in person!  Love seeing Myrtles confidence come back and Frankie actually using his three instead of two!  They're so lucky to have you as a mom!  You give them their best life Sally!  Love & hugs to all!
