Frankie just loves being his little Coon Hound self and joyfully vocalizes EVERYTHING..shrill, loudly and non stop! That's what Coon Hounds do. That's who they are. I understand and respect that. I love that about him. Sometimes Inlove it a little less than others!

When talkingnwith Michelle one night, Frankie was howling at who knows what. We basically had to end the conversation because we couldn't hear each other. But before hanging up she suggested the "Pet Corrector"! OOOOMMMMDDDDD! It works perfectly to interupt his little singing pawty!. THANKS MICHELLE!

This little "sample" of how well it works is NOT an instance of how I would normaly use it. He's singing because he wants to go chexk a few things out a d he wa ts to talk to me about it. But I couldn't help giving him jist a tinynlittle redirection so you can see how wellnit works! All I've ever done is given just a tiny, brief, soft spray of pressurized air and it makes a swoosh sound. And then I praise him when he's wuiet. Virtually after one use I just show him the can and that works!

Regulating some howling:

Merry Myrtle stares at me and drools when she sees me eating. I tell her "back" and she could care less. It doesn't work as well when trying to interrupt Myrtle's focus on food

Merry Myrtle could care less...: http://youtu.be....._k9e3wqgi8

Speaking of Frankie, the extraordinary Cooh Hound...well....apparently someone forgot to tell my Racoon friends how extraordinary he is! This one (I call her Emmy Lou) could care less!! Frankie is in his yard but still only about 25' away.

I can't get passed the raccoon......named Emmy Lou..........hanging out, and eating with your cats. It's like the cat pact has welcomed her in. I think I love this raccoon.

Jerry, I checked Amazon. They have it there. We may have to get some to convince Ollie that stopping to talk with someone while we are on a walk is NOT an invitation for him to join the conversation.

Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Yeah, that's where I got it ...Amazon. They have some with "scents" from other dealers. I just want the quick swish of the sound and not any kind of "fragrance" floating arpund.

Hopefully Tripawds.com can work out a little "deal" with the Pet Corrector peopleway-cool At least we can order thru Amazon Smile.

Elizabeth, it's funny how the Opossums and Racoons all eat side by side with the cats and with each other. They only raise a fuss if a member of their own species wants to join them at the dinner table. I'll try and snap a picture of "Macaroni" the Possum on his next visit. And if you like Emmy Lou, you are going to.love her mom Matilda and dad Chester!

Jerry and Kathi...we have to have "before and after" video!

This is amazing!!! I'm w/Elizabeth - in love w/the raccoons. I love nature! We never see them around here but I know we have them. We are city people but I know we have raccoons! Too cute!!!!

We also have a barky-saurus here and we got some "interostop" from the vet. I also think Michelle recommended it to us. It helps ... sometimes... but when Jasper really wants to bark at people walking up and down the stairs, there isn't much I can do. I don't mind the low growl but the barking. Oy!

Last weekend she was spooked by thunder but I had workers in my apt ... she was hiding under the bed maintaining the low-growl, bark. I told her to grow a pair and come out and be a real watch dog or shut the (you know what) up! Some days ... I just want silence! 🙂 Especially since I've never had a dog that barks like this one! So much for her being a "non-barking dog" - said the rescue!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Looks like my place with all the black & gray cats. We had a rabbit that hung out with our cats, but we are convinced our tenants( no longer tenants) in our rental house on our farm shot him 🙁 That raccoon is something else!! The pet corrector, I am so getting one for Lucy! A coke can filed with a few coins works for some also, but also sounds awful to humans. Lucy went nuts when she heard Frankie. She is also all worried because I let Zoe out of her confines of the bathroom. She would not eat her dinner and kept going to the door. She is perched up high where she is out of reach of the 3 dogs. Lucy has been " telling" me for the last hour that she is out. Can I get express delivery on that thing?? Love how Myrtle looks at it like it is food. LOL Lori, Ty & Gang

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

I wonder how well this would work when Lucian is focused on and chasing these little killdeer birds around in our field.  These little birds have this distinctive chirp that Lucian knows and they fly low to the ground...which just eggs him on to continue chasing them.  These birds lay their eggs on the ground usually in gravel so they do weird things (like scurrying around pretending to have a broken wing) to try and lead you a way from the nest.  I end up chasing Lucian around the field swinging the dog leash around (like he's going to get his butt beat).  Once I get his attention I'll tell him to sit and he does so I can get to him to get the leash on him.  It's just getting his attention which is the hard part.

How close do I have to get to him to pump this air at him to get him to focus?  That little brat is fast and I surely don't have it in me to run laps around the field trying to catch up with him...what-ever

He really scared me one evening a while ago where he would not stop chasing these birds and it was really hot outside.  I was afraid he was going to have a heatstroke with the way he was acting and stumbling around.  It's such a shame that we have 4 acres of fenced in property and the majority of the time he's with me I put him on a leash because he doesn't listen to me as well as he does the hubby.

Sahana and her Angel Leland and Lucian too

I used it with Jazz because she would grab the other's dogs legs when we would go outside to go potty or go for a ride.  You spray it and at the same time say sssst.  Then eventually you should be able not to use the pet corrector.  It works trust me.  I have also used it when they all get carried away barking worked for that.  My pet trainer Susie told me about it.

Sally, I love your videos as usual, and I also just ordered this product......thank you for sharing this with us. My young bomb-shell of a pup Lab Zuzu, has quite a few rather "unpleasant" behaviors that I am having some difficulty with, and after seeing your video, and reading Michelle's post, I am hopeful this may work (fingers crossed)...... Her endless counter-surfing for one, is about to drive me wacky.....!!

Much Love to all,

oh if I could catch little Jasper Lily on the counter, I would so use our spray on her! The one we got does work ... on the barkies ... But Jasper counter surfs something awful when I am not home. An entire BOX of BRAND NEW KLEENEX! I could have slayed her. And my ipod headphones ... if she had eaten the ipod, I told her she was about to be rehomed! LOL

If I can walk her up to 3 miles a day, she's pretty tolerable to be around. Sigh. When it's not summer ... god help my home!

The tails you are telling me about your pups a d the various reasons you want to use the "Dog Corrector" crack me up!

Here's another one...obviously in the dark of night...but you'll get the point. The little "pressure" sound when I sprayed it at the end is not loud at all. And notice how he instantly stopped and came to me for his "good boy" praise!

And Sahana, I have used this when Frankie is pretty far away just howling like crazy at deer. It's the only time I did a short LOUD burst. He stopped vocalizing and came running back to me for his praise.

Frankie thinks Pet Corrector = praise!: http://youtu.be.....WF2HREH8uE

I'll get a vido of it to show you how far away he is and how intensely focused he is on vocalizing.

And Alison, after you've used it a couple of times, it maybe that all you have to do is put one or two on the counter.

Again, Ive just used one short NOT loud burst the first time and immediately praised him once he could relate the praise to being quiet

CANNOT WAIT TO SEE ALL THE VIDEOS! This is gon a be fun!

THANKS AGAIN MICHELLE!!
