Love this!!!! What a treasure. Polly made sure you did not recycle that catalog. I would let her up all year. Not sure about Christmas this year. I usually LOVE it. January is the 1 year ampuversary . Love from, Lori and TY

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Bonnie,

This beautiful gift just touches my heart.  I'm so glad that you found this and adding the halo just gave me happy tears.  I hope I can find some Christmas spirit since Leland has gone.  I pretty much told hubby today that I'm not going to decorate for Christmas this year because one Lucian would destroy the tree and decorations and two my heart just really isn't into it this year.  This will be the first Christmas ever that I won't have a tree or pretty decorations out (I LOVE the Christmas holidays).

I'll have to check out the website you mentioned and see if they have anything that resembles my Leland...crying

Oh no Sahana you have to decorate in Leland's honor. He would want you to.  I do know what you mean about the pup wreaking havoc around the house. I'm not a great Christmas fan because of all the commercialization but I do look forward to dressing up my pups and horses to get in the spirit. When the time gets closer I will egg on tripawds and alumni for those Christmas photos. Hang in there.

LOVE, love, love!!!! I plan to do a blog w/Shelby's 10+ years of Christmas/Santa photos (we're missing a couple years I guess since we didn't do it the first year or so I had her but I made up for lost time). It was our FAVORITE (ok, maybe just me) time of year ... the dresses... outfits! It's what is making this year so incredibly painful for me w/out her. BUT I will do a proper blog and share all that was Christmas in Shelby world!

New memories .. new friends ... much love~

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Yipee,  I can't wait to see Shelby's blog. I do think this is a hard time for people but if we all stick together we can laugh and cry through the whole season.

Christine... with Franklin in her heart♥

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012.  Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.  Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack...   You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!

Yeah Sahana, just think about ehat Penny said. Itsw a nice way to honor Leland's joyous Spirit

It doesn't have to be a full blown "deck the halls"...maybe just a few decorations....or a small little tree with some lights. If for no other reason because, as Penny says, Leland would want you to!

Penny! You embody the holiday seasons...all of them! Are we going to have Blink and Hank in some upcoming Christmas photos? Hope so! Just love this one!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
