I'm so HAPPY and EXCITED for you and little Daryl. When I saw the title of the forum posting I thought...I sure hope this is Lori letting us know about Daryl. Reading your posting literally gave me goose bumps!!!
This is so meant to be and there is no doubt that Ty has stamped his approval all over this.
Gosh I'm getting a little teary eyed over here because this is so wonderful....
You are an awesome mom to your fur kids and little Daryl is so lucky to have found his way to your home. I can't wait to see pictures of him settling in to his forever home. Gosh I can't wait for Saturday to hurry up and get here so you can tell us all about it!!

Congratulations, that is super exciting! I was reading your other threads about it and I'm so glad you decided to go through with it! When I first found Jaime I was living with my parents who would not let me get another dog while living with them. I talked it over with my mom, and we decided that it would be irresponsible to adopt Jaime and that I just had to buckle down and wait for the right time. But I just couldn't stop thinking about Jaime! So after days of obsessing over it, I decided to move out and do whatever was necessary to adopt my little guy. No regrets yet! You just gotta go with your gut!
Darryl couldn't have found a better mama and I'm sure he will be perfect for you and your family. He's just adorable! Can't wait to see pictures of his homecoming!

I'm trying! I have them uploaded into my blog library, but there is no place on my post now to insert pictures. You know that little tree thing. I am in LOVE!!! Instant bond! Hard to get pictures because he is totally glued to me.
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Congrats Lori and welcome Daryl - the lovely Lucy and charming Chandler have just inherited the best little brother ever!

He's got a purple spot on his tongue! Shelby had that when I got her and then it turned all purple.
He's sooooo cute! So shiny! what a pretty boy!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Ok, how do you get over the 3 legged fear. We were outside and he yelped once. Then he jumped off the couch and landed on his blanket and slid. Now I think he is walking funny. Maybe I walked him too much today. How much is too much? He is 2 months post amp, but seems to want to go. If I feel like this already, I think he is defiantly here forever.

I don't know how you get over that but I do know that even thought Jasper has 4 legs, I STILL - almost 3 months later - FREAK out when she leaps /jumps / slides / falls. I am hoping w/time that eases up and I can let her 'Be More Dog '. I am sure Rene and Elizabeth will weigh in... especially w/Tanner being the loony that he is!

Thos eyes!!! OMD!!! Of course Ty would send you a dog with beautiful eyes!!! Ty knew how much you love those soulful eyes of his, so he sent you another dog with joyful eyes to melt your heart!!!!
