Hi everyone!

Hopefully everyone is doing great, avoiding the heat and everything else nasty which is out there.  I do not get on here too often these days, because everything had been going pretty darn good.  Though I do peek in on occasions to offer a comment here or there where I can.

Well yesterday was Tuxedo's 13th birthday.   With 3+ of those years on 3 after losing a rear leg and partial pelvis due to a dog attack.  Since Tuxedo is on a diet, no ice cream or him.  Just lots of cuddles and belly rubs.  He also celebrated by sneaking outside and getting on the roof!  Bad Tux, Bad Tux

As many know, Tuxedo had a very rough start with his tripawd life.  But around 2 months everything pretty much smoothed out.  He is back to his stubborn annoying and totally adorable self.  For those who doubt what a three legged cat can do, here is a picture of my little critter's "celebration".  Yes, a three legged cat, who is front declawed as well, somehow managed to get up there.  Do not ask me how, as I have no clue.  This is the second time he has done it.  He sure seemed proud of himself after.  I know it scared me to death!   Tuxedo on the roofImage Enlarger

Please  pardon the poor and picture quality.  Needless to say when I found him I had a lot on my mind beside lighting and angles.

Hugs and best wishes

Happy 13th Birthday. You are georgus! Here's to many more!

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

Woooaaaaah! Tuxedo you just made my day, what a wild boy you are! I'm having shortness of breath just looking at you way up there.

Crazy Kitty, HOPPY BIRTHDAY! smiley_clapicon_lol

I'm so glad things are going so well. Sounds like that new diet is helping you be more spry than ever. Stop scaring your mama though OK? We want you around for a long long time.

For those of you new to Tuxedo's journey, here's a link to a Tripawd Tuesday post about Tuxedo the Wonder Kitty!

This has me grinning ear to ear for so many reasons😁  I love seeing that naughty boy up on the roof, just to show you he can!!  No one should ever doubt  what a three legged kitty can do!

And, btw, that picture is actually very pretty....very artsy!😎

HAPPY, HAPPY THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY  TUXEDO!!!  We are so happy  to be celebrating with you!!🎂🥳   Sorry about no ice cream though.  I'll eat some on your behalf tonight!🍨🍧

I remember  all too well the start of your journey here  over three years ago.  Ot certainly  was a scary time, but we knew Tux was a fighter, and had devoted  hoomans to fight with him!  An I inspirational story of courage, devotion  and determination!

Thanks so much for the update! Made my day!🤗

Hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Awww, thank you for the well wishes and for featuring Tuxedo in that blog post.  He definitely had one of the hardest recoveries that I can recall seeing on here.  My little party animal is dozing in a sunny window right now.  Most likely planning for his next adventure.

Happy birthday Tuxedo! Seamus was up on the high garden gate not too long after his front, left leg surgery. At 17, and 2+ years post-surgery, he still likes to observe his kingdom from on high from time to time!!

Stay well (and keep being naughty).

A belated Happy Birthday Tuxedo! What a way to celebrate - on the roof!! I had a roof climber cat before who had 4 legs and that stressed me out but a tripawd?! I love your sense of adventure.

Congratulations on managing so well from your amputations. I wish you many more years of good health and safe adventures.
