jerry you are the most magnifienct researcher and mind a pioneer in this
I read what tou wrote to strumbum and even the knoweldge tou had when we spoke. When in crisi you just want the answers..I did. the where how what. and right away because everyone during this time of covid is showing truth as vets.
you made me start to think clealry and with a scientist research understanding and not dissociafe from the personal very vulnerablr part of me this is.
you saved Pittens by grounding me. And you saved my life in thinking clear with by learning gaining proper knowledge and research amd mix it with the hardest part ever. The part you only know.
You saved her and you made me feel such admiration.
She had been sleeping and she loves outting her face in my hair so i have it near her. She has eaten 2x since. and treats.and sleeping
very very affectionate. and looks at me almost like we are one and we are complete now we are together . i feel that too... people heckle when they hear such things amd think its too intense. but its not...she has been a gift that made my emotions gain refinement .
Thank you Jerry. I could not being doing ecen right now without everyone. and Jackie has been my hourly check in. gosh.... this whole experience....
Sumi, you are too kind but honestly you had the wisdom and the courage in you this whole time. Bravo!
I'm sure that Pittens is sooo grateful to be feeling better without that bad leg. A lot of much younger cats have a trickier return home, she is truly amazing!

Im so happy its gine that infection. Her eyes look brighter to me.
I sent this to Jackie but maybe can ask you also
Awww. I honestly think she is pretty comfortable right now based on her behavior. When cats feel bad they go and hide. What medications is she on?
Don't worry about poop, it may take a few days but it will happen.
Regarding the incision: What are their instructions? Follow them whatever they told you.
As for the heat and ice therapy, here's a blog post that explains:

ok. Thanks. She is on Buprenorphine and Gabapentin. Im worried they only gave me 3 days worth of the Buprenorphine.
Also they said it wont aggravate her kidneys which I know isnt true. She doesnt have kidney disease just some slight elevations in her levels.
Thanks for the link!
Good morning!
I hope you were all able to have a restful evening. How is Pittens doing this morning?

Pittens looks amazing! So glad that you had a good night. She seems like she is starting her recovery strong. Griffin and I are rooting for her continued smooth recovery! Stacy
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
