Most of us didn’t join the Tripawds Nation because we wanted to. But you may have noticed that once you’re in, life starts to look different. No, it’s not because your animal lost a leg. But rather, it’s what you gain from the experience that changes everything.
When you are new to this journey, it’s hard to understand that your animal was born with the instinct to thrive no matter what — even on three legs! Unlike humans, dogs and cats (and other animals) don’t stop and worry about how they will manage after amputation, they just give it a go and try to make the best of things.
And whether your pet’s amputation happened five days ago or five years or more, the lessons from the amputation experience have the power to make our own lives better every single day for as long as we live.
We hope that your year and your life is richly blessed by the simple but profound wisdom of our Tripawd heroes. Hoppy New Year from everyone in the Tripawds Nation, and especially from Admin Guy Jim, Spirit Jerry’s Mom Rene and of course, Wyatt Ray Dawg.
