If you’re brand new to the three-legged lifestyle, today’s Tripawd Tuesday feature about Buddy will show you how fast time moves when you’re in recovery mode. Although you might think that it will never end, your Tripawd is already getting on with life.
13-year old Buddy is hoppin’ right along.
Take for instance, Buddy. He had his amputation in September and by the end of October here’s what his people said:
Life is pretty awesome. 6 weeks strong.
But that doesn’t mean life doesn’t have some challenges for this 13-year old pup. For instance:
His walks are pretty strong. Some days he is happy to go longer and others he is happy to cut it short. He is still stubborn as heck in having to turn around! On his longer walks he likes to trot along at a quick pace then he’ll stop to sniff around a bit. He’ll tire after awhile and will look up at Steve as if to say, “A little help here?” So Steve will lift him slightly with his harness and off they go!
Things are rockin’ and rollin’ for Buddy and his people, we couldn’t be hoppier! Today let’s all give them a big 3-paws up! To see what life is like for a new senior Tripawd, hop on over to Buddy’s blog today.

Lots of love Leo and Me X X
I just love following Buddy ob his journey of awesomeness, mixed in with just a touch of stubbornness and a whole boatload of cuteness and personality galore!!
Buddy, you are an inspiration for all tripawds, but ESPECIALLY senior tripawds to be! Rene was so spot on when she noted how we humans think recovery will never end. In the meantime, sogs are just getting on with life in spite of “recovery”!
Standing ovation for you Buddy, and your wonderful humans who clearly adore yo, as we all do!!
Lots of love!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
