Today on Tripawd Tuesday we’re going to brighten your day with the story of Sato Charlie, who recently wrote about his heartwarming story of survival and love. If you haven’t seen it, we encourage you to visit his blog today.
A Sato Dog is slang for “Street Dog” in Puerto Rico, where an estimated 100,000 to 250,000 homeless dogs live hard, short lives of neglect and starvation. Thanks to Save a Sato Foundation, Charlie won the lotto and found a loving, forever home in America. He writes:
There are lots of satos just like me, waiting to be saved from the streets or taken from Dead Dog Beach, and ready to bring lots of love to families who can forgive our fear and accept who we are.
Charlie’s story and that of the Sato dogs will warm your heart. Watch this great video and get out the tissues, you’re sure to be touched.
