My sweet boy passed away a few months ago and I'm finally ready to give away everything I accumulated to help him, including lots of things that were recommended by tripawds.com. He was a 95-lb newfoundland retriever mix. Free to homes that need them as long as you pay shipping (and some of these things likely cost too much to ship). I live in Denver and would be happy to have someone pick any/all of this stuff up. (Also, if anyone knows of a place that takes donations for folks who might need help getting their tripawd situated, please let me know)

Two help em up harnesses, size large, with various straps (like for over your shoulder, and a no twist strap)

dog car ramp, 62" long by 16" wide,

large orthopedic cooling dog bed, barely used (he tried it once I think)

extra wide pet stairs for getting on furniture (also barely used)

Laurie, we are so sorry for your loss. If you feel up to sharing more about your sweet boy, post a tribute in Coping with Lossso we can celebrate his life with you. He is for sure so proud of you for wanting to help another Tripawd with these wonderful items.

If you don't find any takers for some or all of the items within the next couple of months, let us know. We will be passing through Denver on our way to Fort Collins in mid-August and may be able to meet you somewhere to take these off your hands. The CSU Vet School's Medical Lending Library would probably be able to use them and we would be happy to take them to the campus for you. Keep us posted.

Many condolences coming your way from all of us.

Hello,

I'm very sorry your boy is no longer at your side.  He sounds beautiful

I have a front leg amputee that is feeling wear as he gets older.  I live less than an hour south of Denver.  I have just discovered this site and am quite grateful!

I'm very interested in the ramp and the bed.  My guy is about 70 pounds-not sure if the harnesses would fit?

I hope you may experience a bit of peace knowing these items will help another Very Good Boy 💙

Thank you,

Layla

Layla and furmily, welcome. We are so glad you found us too. Thank you for chiming in. Feel free to start a new topic in another forum so we can learn all about your pup.

As for the harness, if you measure your dog's girth (widest part of the ribcage), that number will tell you whether or not the harness will fit. They go by girth, not weight.

Looking forward to learning all about your and your Tripawd.
