At the door registrations will be accepted but the first 50 pre paid/pre registered attendees will receive goody bags with awesome stuff inside!!!

Please join us on September 25th to raise funds for Canine Cancer Treatment, Research & Support!!!!

Sadly, cancer is the leading cause of death for our canine companions. Statistics vary but it is estimated that 1 out of every 4 dogs will be diagnosed with cancer.

We, at Greyhounds Rock Fredericksburg, formed our 501c3 all volunteer nonprofit charity, in honor of our own dogs lost to cancer, to help the dogs that are presently battling this disease and to support their humans.

Over the past few years we have donated more than $45K to non profit (501c3) organizations that are either researching for a cure, supporting owners and their dogs that have been diagnosed with cancer and/or providing financial assistance with the veterinary expenses associated with the treatment of this disease.

Last year, proceeds from our year-long fundraising efforts were distributed to:

The Mosby Foundation, Armani Ellen Bond Schaffer Cancer Fund

Tripawds Foundation , Maggie Moo Fund

The Greyhound Health Initiative

The Greyhound Health Initiative, Free Chemo Program

Enjoy a barbecue picnic in the country,with a self guided tour of the vineyards and Hartwood Roses's antique and heirloom rose fields, food, wine tasting, raffle and auction, door prizes, vendor market, speakers and lots more! A full list of activities will be available on our website. Please bring chairs/blankets.

You can expect a day of fun activities and, of course, canine friends!

Please register on-line at http://www.grey.....dsrock.org. The first 50 prepaid registrations will receive a goody bag for each adult registered!!! Children under 12 will be admitted free but still need to be included on your registration.

For those of you who would like to stay overnight, we will be reserving a block of hotel rooms. Old Towne Fredericksburg is a very dog friendly town with boutiques and lots of fabulous restaurants with outdoor dining areas plus many Civil War battlefields you can visit with your canine companion. We will be posting the details for the hotel on our website in the next few weeks.
