Hello all you Colorado Tripawds! It's that time again…time for the nation's largest gathering of three legged dogs!

We're having it in Fort Collins this time at the Spring Canyon Dog Park.

This is one of the best dog parks we've been to, EVER! This huge 3 acre playground has separate areas for big dogs and small ones, swimmers and non-swimmers. There's a big pond for splashing and lots of shade and water too.

DETAILS:

Saturday, July 16
9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Spring Canyon Dog Park
West end of Horsetooth Road, in Spring Canyon Community Park

Will YOU be there? Hope so!

Sweeeeeet!

I know, 9 is early for us too. Ick. But the thing is it might get really hot so I thought we'd get there early just in case.

Will be good to see everyone again..

Drats, we had hoped Bud could be there. We are sorry about the funeral though. If you feel like coming by our place on the way home, just let us know. A Tripawd pawty will still be going on all week with crazy Codie Rae & the pack!

Can't wait to see you Ted & Mary!

Jerry -

Have you ever thought about doing this "bigger"? Morning in the park? Afternoon in classes?

Maybe a tour of the CSU animal hospital with speakers from the oncology/radiation/rehab/etc? They might be interested in doing something for free?  I bet the school might have a meeting room we could use?

I know most of us would like to meet Dr. Pam in person. I bet some of the Tripawd Talk Radio speakers could come (first aid, homeopathic, etc…). Additionally, perhaps some of the more senior members could talk about cancer diets, nutritional supplements, etc…

Or maybe the California Animal Rehabilitation Center would be interested in hosting? They could do rehab demos.

You could sell the Tripawds jewerly, and maybe other advertisers on the blog would be interested in being there to give away samples or sell their wares.

I know it's a big undertaking, but really maybe just something Friday pm/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday am? A big portion could still be the 9a-1p at the park.

People could use some vacation time to come. I know I would be interested if I had some advance time for scheduling. We would all be responsible for making our own travel and hotel arrangements. And I bet some of us would be willing to help contact organizations, get sponsors, etc . . . It's just hard to justify coming from Texas for a four hour gathering, and I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and other pawrents.

Just throwing it out there.

I LOVE your enthusiasm! Wanna organize it?

This is a big dream we've had and still haven't given up, it's just a matter of finding volunteer help and more time in the day. Check out this Convention Planning Discussion and see what ya think. Feel free to add to that discussion if you're still game!
