Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share this with you. Something good has come out of this little ordeal - Murphy has finally learned how to sit down! Ever since the amputation, he would either lay or stand - he just couldn't figure out how to sit. I suppose it's the fact that his leg is so sore that he finally realized he has other options. Today (Sunday) was the first time since the amputation that he finally sat down - and wouldn't you know he was sitting at the fridge (typical lab!).

MurphysMom, that is wonderful news! Isn't it neat how those little things suddenly become so precious? If there's anything good about cancer, celebrating these moments is definitely it.
Good boy Murphy! Keep it up!

Dearest Murphy's Mom,
OH, this is indeed very good news! Every little success can mean so much when you have been through such a traumatic ordeal. It looks like Murphy is starting to figure out what he can do and I'm sure that makes him very happy, too. Let's keep hoping for excellent progress.

Debbie,
Im so happy to hear the news about Murphy! Its crazy, isnt it , how the little things seem to bring you such joy!! I can relate to the sitting by the fridge...LOL!! Max is a fridge sitter too, and will come from anywhere when he hears that door open! Those Labbys love their food! Im glad to know that his pain has eased and he is getting back to normal. Sounds like the two of you are in for good days ahead!! Max is on some new meds and had his first chemo treatment last Friday. Im hesitant to say it, but I think the new pain meds have helped. He was out in the snow with me 3 times this past weekend for about 15 min each time. Hope Im not jinxing us!!
Good Boy Murphy!!! Keep up the good work!!
