Next week marks Tazzie's 9 month anniversary since her RF leg was amputated. Since I have to take my other dog Kona to the oncologist on Thursday I decided to run a few tests on Taz. Luckily her bloodwork and urine culture were normal and today her chest and leg rads are CLEAR! She tweaked her right knee again so has had some issues getting around plus she has another small pressure sore on her LF foot but overall she is very happy and livin' large.
I am going to ask Dr Meleo her opinion on the best treatment plan for lung mets just so that I am prepared, so I will keep you all updated later this week.
I will try to attach a few current photos.

Congratulations to Tazzie and a job well done to Pam. We all know that this journey has not been easy, but your success is an inspiration to all of us who are "newbies" to this journey. Last week, Cherry completed her sixth month and is doing wonderfully. Thanks for all your postings and replies and we look forward to many more celebrations as you progress through this journey.

Congrats to both of you. This kind of news gives us all hope. Gracie also just hit her 9 month. We are also doing chest Xrays. We want to be ready for anything that may arise. I feel that early treatment is the best. Keep up the good work. I know that the road has been long and hard. Relax and rejoice in the moment. There is nothing greater than the love between a dog & man (or woman in our case).
