After a long week of working late I logged on and was so hoping everything was well with my favorite tripawds, I am REALLY sorry this isn't the case.
Especially about Abby, we love Abby and you Jackie. I am glad to read how "in the moment" you are, you are amazing, just like our girl. Please give her a kiss on the cheek from Sammy. We are sending up prayers as soon as I finish this post for every moment with her to be incredible, and for her to have as much time as can be given.
Abby and Jackie, you are our inspiration.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
So glad to hear Abby had a good night. Not sure its helpful, but When Sam's coughing started draining him a bit, we put him on a cough suppressant - it was a blessing for him. His energy was still good so it just let him be himself without the cough bugging him - it kept him really comfortable. It actually worked so well we had to remind ourselves that none of the causes were going away, just the cough. Keep loving your days! Xoxo Sue
I am so, so sorry to hear about Abby. I have read about her for many months and been encouraged by her victories. I hope love and good medicine keep her comfortable and happy for many more days to come.
My heart goes out to you. Live in the moment — love forever.

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
So sorry to hear Abby has been having a bad time of it. Glad she enjoyed her trip to the beach, hope she has many more to enjoy.
Lot's of licks from Winston and hugs from me x
Winston started limping in Feb 11, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his right front paw in March 11, amputation April 11. Six rounds of carboplatin. Diagnosed with HO and lung mets September 11.We sadly said goodbye on 24 May 12, sleep tight Winston dog xx
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that Abby is not doing well. Your advice and her story have been an inspiration and comfort for me as my dog is a new Tripawd. I wish you and Abby the best and hope you have lots of time with your beautiful girl.
Kathy and Tasha
Tasha was a German ShepherdBorder Collie mix who was diagnosed with OSA at age 8. On December 29, 2011 she had her front right leg amputated and received 4 rounds of chemo. Sadly and suddenly Tasha became sick and we discovered she had liver cancer that had spread to her lung. After almost 19 months, Tasha earned her wings on July 17, 2013. No regrets and never forgotten.
I just caught up on your blog and all I can say is I am so sorry. Abby was a real hero in my eyes as I was going through my short journey with Fergus. I hope she has many more happy beach days. As everyone says, just live each day with her to the fullest and take lots of photos. We stocked up on treats and did as many fun pack things as possible in the time we had.
Thinking of you,
Tara & Spirit Fergus
Abby -
Sorry we have been MIA for a while but logged in and saw your sad news. We hope you live it up by going to the beach, eating all the burgers you want and kissing everyone you know.
Your are still in our thoughts and prayers and here's hoping for more better days with your pawsome mom.
