Oh lordy how did we miss your questions? I am really sorry! That rarely happens around here. But I'm so glad things are on the upswing for your sweetie. Your vet sounds fantastic!

Yeah recovery seems to last forever but how wonderful that it's now behind you. Don't forget, you can apply for a Tripawds Rehab Therapy Reimbursement Grant OK? Helping Roscoe get strong with professional help will make such a difference in his strength and stamina.

Hi Rosco

Super Stu just caight up on this forum.... how are you Doing? Great to hear you made it through the first two weeks of recovery. I'm sure Rosco is rearing to go! Stewie allowed his Mum & Dad to overdo it for himself in the third week and he was EXHAUSTED! It took him a couple of days to recover. As Sally said, recovery is ongoing for the first few weeks and keeping them on short walks is critical.

Stewie is now into his 9th week of recovery and he still thinks he can go all day, but we still maintain much shorter walks than before. I know for myself, that i am constantly worrying about hurting his remaining front leg, so he definitely gets more indoor time than before as well.

Hope all is well.

Sloppy kisses from Stewie👅🐾
& all the very best from his adoring pack,
Petra, Paul, & his feline siblings, Mr. Spike, Chester Molester & Miss Lily 🐾🐾🐾❤️.
