Our oncologist is suggesting 6 Carboplatin treatments alternating with 5 doxorubicin treatments all 3 weeks apart. This seem like a much more intense treatment than any other dog on this site has experienced. Looking for feedback. Also interested in dosing of artemenisin and where one can obtain it in canada
Watch our video interview with oncologist Dr Mona Rosenberg discussing recommended Carboplatin treatment for bone cancer in dogs. You might also want to listen to the podcast from our Tripawd Talk Radio interview with oncologist Dr Johnny Chretin for more insight regarding chemotherapy protocols, effectiveness and side effects.
You'll also find plenty of online sources for Artemisinin on the Supplements page of the Tripawds Nutrition blog .
Hope this helps.

Hi Lolabear,
Yes, please contact Colorado State University's Argus Institute and tell them your situation. The Argus Institute is a free service that helps pawrents from anywhere in the world cope with their pet's medical issues and connect them with the right people. They can probably tell you who you might be able to consult with at CSU:
Good luck. Let us know what they tell you OK?
