Good input, thanks. Even though all dogs are different in the recovery, having some sort of baseline to read about will at least provide some comfort in knowing what the recovery duration looks like for many.

After reading all the posts the last few months I'd add:
- How long was your dog in the hospital post-op? Was it: not long enough, just right, too long?
- As the human in the relationship, how has your emotional recovery been? (more worried, live for today, extremely stressed, good days/bad days, etc.)
