We just got word from friends of ours in Eureka, California (just south of the Oregon border), that this pretty gal needs a home. Here is her story:
Carly, a sweet, loving, lively Aussie mix girl about a year old had been run over by a car and suffered a broken foot. The injury was treated but within a few days, Carly had a bone infection and the only certain fix that would keep her alive and healthy was amputating the leg.
She had her surgery on Wednesday, 5/6, and came through just fine. While in Humboldt, she's available for adoption through BONES pet rescue. Then she will be taken by Smiley Dog Rescue in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The rescue group is trying to raise funds to cover the surgery. if you can help donate anything, or would like to make Carly a part of your family, please contact us here at Tripawds. Thanks everyone.

Thank you for registerring! Be sure you are logged in when you visit the forums and your posts will appear immediately. (I had to approve this one.)
When posting a reply to a topic, you can subscribe to that topic by checking the box next to the subscribe (heart) icon under options. Otherwise, just click the "Subscribe" button at the bottom of the forum to subscribe to the topic shown on that page. You can also "Watch" topics and view your list of links to all your watched topics by clicking the "Watching" button. Or you can subscribe to any topic via RSS feed with the "Topic RSS" button. Of course, you must be logged in to do any of this.
