Aw, thanks for reading, Sally. It's an amazing story, isn't it. Terrible to think what some people have to contend with, but what a treasure Ping Pong is ❤️

BTW Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I think I may have done. I'm never sure if it's 'tripawds in the news' or 'Tripawds in the news' if you get my drift. Anyway, do please feel free to move....

Wow thank you for sharing Clare! I saw the headline today and was afraid to read it but I'm so glad I did thanks to you. What a wonderful ending! And how super cool to see that people all over the globe are realising that just because a dog loses a leg doesn't mean they aren't awesome heroes. YAY!

Yes of course you may share it here. Tripawds Rule! xoxo

Tripawds was featured in the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians newsletter in July!

We are so hoppy to be featured, since it gets Tripawds Foundation in front of so many vets who don't know about us.

How great to get the news out there about rehab and tripawds!

Paula

That is really fantastic to see all of your hard work come to fruition smiley_clap  You must be so excited, and I am thrilled that this information is starting to get out so wide spread. I know we couldn't do rehab with Huck, I am very fortunate that he is in good shape but even now if I thought he could do it without trauma and people losing fingers I would try it. I just don't think our situation would allow for it.

Hugs,

A great vehicle to pass on the word about Tripawds in general, as well as the Rehab program.  So gratifying  to see the way "Jerry" continues  to get his woof heard❤

Too right. The more people hear about Tripawds the better. I will never forget stumbling onto the site, feeling absolutely desperate and hopeless and how the kindness and support of people here transformed things for us. I’m sure everyone has a similar memory of their own.

smiley_clap Three Paws up to Ruffwear for some in-depth insight on the Tripawds backstory with this feature article about your favorite founders and their Chief Fun Officer Jerry G. Dawg!

Finding Purpose on the Road with a Three-Legged Dog

With Jerry’s spirit guiding them, Rene and Jim established the Tripawds community to help others facing amputation for their own dogs and cats. “We never want anyone else to ever feel as alone and lost as we did, when we got Jerry's diagnosis,” says Rene. Today, Tripawds is the largest online support network for amputee pets and their people...

Living through the highs and lows of life on the road while witnessing the joys and heartbreak of helping others through amputation recovery and cancer care isn’t easy. Along the way, Jim and Rene do their best to stay resilient by doing what comes naturally to any dog: focusing on the here and now. In other words, they try to Be More Dog. It’s Jerry’s parting gift to the couple, which they share with the world in their book, Be More Dog; Learning to Live in the Now

Great article. Jerry's story is truly inspirational. Where would Mona have got for her inspiration without this site?

I also enjoyed reading the comments at the end of the article. You've warmed many hearts. sp_hearticon2

Awwww, thank you for making our day, Kerren, Sally and Jackie. smiley9

Like your comments, the notes people took time to write were completely unexpected and so sweet to read through. We are furever grateful for that dawg whose spirit lives on, and for each and every person who joins us here to share their own animals' inspawrational life. They do change for the better!
