We've had a lot of sad news here over the last month (which folks have appropriately dubbed "Awful August"). And while we all mourn for the loss of our dear Tripawds friends, we can help heal our hearts by embracing the cherished adventures that our Tripawds bloggers are sharing every day.
Some of these folks don't visit the forums very often so their blog is the only place where you'll catch up on their news. Some posts are joyful, some share sad news, but all of them are written with heartfelt emotions that deserve to get shared with as many people as possible, which is why I'm just posting this little reminder.
Sometimes there are so many blog posts being written that we miss them because they fly through the blog feed in the sidebar so quickly. This week writers have been especially busy!

Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.

Thanks Jerry! As much as I'm on here, it always surprises me to find out how many blogs I've missed. And many times I say I'll come back later and catch up...."tomorrow".....and we know how that goes! So thanks for this reminder!
Now, it wasn't until I saw this update that I went back to catch up on Bear's blog and realized he transitioned this year.
Question: In cases like Bear's, if I post now, woukd his family get an alert to check their blog or are they even still on here?
