Thanks for sharing the wonderful news; as others have said with all of the recent losses good news is needed. Also, Rusty celebrated his one year ampuversary this week and this gives us hope that maybe he too can make another year.
Chuck & Rusty
Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.
So wonderful!! I always love to read your posts, Shanna, on another ampuversary and believe me, we are all celebrating with you. I say this every month and I'll say it again - Trouble you are such an inspiration to all of us here and you definitely are our tripawd hero! Here's to many, many more celebrations and ampuversaries! You are a rock star Trouble!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
C O N G R A T S on 26 months!
Hopefully you convinced your mom to let you celebrate this whole weekend since you were recuperating on the actual ampuversary - you deserve it.
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
