Tripawds Three Legged Dog & Cat Forum Archives

Yesterday, Jane & I went to a "Pet Celebration of Life". It was hosted by Paws, Whiskers & Wags (a local pet crematory that we used for Skyler). They've had this tribute celebration for the past 5 years, and all clients that have lost their pet (s) in the previous year are welcomed. A few people spoke, we did a candlelight vigil, and then finished up with a Pet Photo Tribute. Everyone had submitted pictures of their pets, so everyone took turns crying when seeing their own pet picture on the screen.

After the ceremony, Jane & I went up to Christine Hunsaker (owner & founder of PW&W). We told her all about Tripawds.com and how helpful the site has been for us. We gave her one of the cards that Jim/Rene had mailed to us. Maybe they will add a link on their website to Tripawds??? We also went up to the keynote speaker, Maureen MacNamara, who is a social worker specializing in working with animals to assist humans in growth & healing. She also got a card.

So, we are trying to spread the word! Please send us more cards when you can!
