Seeing as how we're all extreme animal-lovers here, I though I'd ask....
Has anyone else broken down and wept during the new SPCA commercial with that "Arms of an Angel" music? I've seen commercials that will bring a tear, but this one makes me full out weep!

My Mom and I have seen it and sometimes we have to change channels it is sooo sad. I thank God that I am one of the lucky ones that gets adopted. My mom adopted me after they found me wandering around in St. James Island (S.C.) and that was 11yrs ago.

I can't watch that commercial either. It makes me ball. I can't even watch the Animal Cops shows because I cry even when there are happy endings because no animal should have to go through some of the horrible things people do to them. It angers me too that those people get off so easy.Then again, I also think that dog breeding should be regulated so there are not so many homeless, abandoned or abused pets. I think that people should have to get a license to have a pet. I think that there should always be home visits before people should be allowed to adopt pets. I wish laws were more strict regarding animals.
It is a sad commercial and a real tragedy that animals are treated that way in our society. I wish they played that commercial on channels other than Animal Planet so more people would see it!

They already play it on other channels. This and the past few weekends there have been Star Wars and Lord of the Rings marathons on TNT and SpikeTV, etc. They play it at least twice an hour. I literally have to change the channel or leave the room.
