Trouble had her first set of x-rays post op yesterday.
As of 11:15 AM, 3/27/09 ......
Trouble is Met Free!!!!!
Chest x-rays show nothing at all abnormal, completely clear. We are excited, thankful, and blessed. As checkups take place, I'll continue to update. We aren't so naive as to believe cancer free means free forever but until there are indications otherwise that is how we shall live each day.
Even though this has been a really tough journey, we have been given many gifts - an amazing, kind, and compasionate vet, the support of this forum and Pitbull Talk, the well wishes of so many friends and family, and most of all the precious additional time to spend with Trouble, painfree and happy, and not on pain meds.
We will continue to live day by day, and continue to offer our support to others on the journey.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Woof! Woof! Thank you for making our day with this awesome news! Congratulations from all of us. Yeah, cancer is a ruff journey, but as long as you can look through the hard stuff you'll see that it does bring more love and gifts into your life than you ever imagined. It's the silver lining of this awful disease.
Stay pawsitive, and approach each day with a new outlook and love in your heart, and you can get through anything. Trouble's shirt is ADORABLE! Keep us posted and thank you for being a part of our family!
