WHOOO HOOOO!!!! This book is PAWESOME! I just ordered a hardcover for myself and will be back to order one for Nova's vet and oncology clinic. I love the full-page of her "downward dog" pose in the snow. I believe I have seen that quote attributed to Lily Tomlin, but I am not 100% sure on that.
It will be delivered just around the date that Nova was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma 3 YEARS ago, and before her ampuversary on November 11th. Aside from having the Queen still here on this earth with me, I couldn't think of a better present than this wonderful book of inspawrational stories.
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
Queen Mum Sue and Queen Nova
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
I can't wait to get ours too! Ours is due to arrive shortly before Abby's one year anniversary of her Dx/amp. One year is amazing, and three years is truly incredible. Three is a beautiful number.
Long live the Queen indeed.
Can't wait to read everyone's stories in the book.
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
I am sooo excited, we have never been in print before 🙂 My mom just ordered two for me, I think I will give Dr. Pam one, she has been so awesome in helping us through this. It would be great for her clinic!
Yay! I can't wait to read the stories 🙂
Elizabeth and Sammy

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Oh you guys, this makes us do the hoppy dance! We're so glad you're excited!!!! We hope every vet clinic in the world will have one in their lobby to show people what Tripawds can do!
Everyone, remember, your dawg can be in it too by choosing the "customize" option. There will be future print editions too but we can't promise exactly when. Until then, the customized version is how we everyone and anyone can be in it!
THREE years Nova...wow, we are blown away. You rock!

we are so excited to be in print – right between angel comet and angel maggie… we've already ordered three – one for us, one for gayle's vet and one for our 'needles' vet.
a tripawd book and a tripawds ornament for the vet you love…..priceless!!
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
This is going to be a "BONUS"...like a director's cut! I didn't know so many others were in the book, too! I just saw "My Comet" and few others. I hope, I hope, I hope we are next to Gayle and Charon as we were in the preview!
Not too proud over here, I'm placing my Comet in every doctor's lobby I can think of...My vet, Comet's ortho vet and my regular doctor (he is a dog lover). Oh, then there is my other regular doctor who loves unusual books in his lobby...don't see him much but what the hell!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Slight correction: Yoda and Gerry
At least three vets have this book comin' to 'em from us!
Hmmm... it's probably about time Gerry checks in with his chiropractor anyway... that may be 4 then...
Yoda&Mom united: 9/5/06 …….… Yoda&Leg separated: 6/5/09……… Yoda&Leg reunited: 10/14/09 ……… ……………….………….………….……. Yoda&Mom NEVER separated! …………………….….……....….…… Though Spirit Yoda currently free-lances as a rabbit hunting instructor for tripawds nationwide
I told our oncologist that we are getting her a "special Rio version" (cuz I'm lame and didn't write the Woo story) of this book for her to share with her patients' pawrents, and she cried. We're getting another one for our regular vet, too, because we want everypawdy to know that life doesn't end with either a cancer diagnosis or an amputation. It just becomes a different life.
This book should be in every vet or oncologist's office because these dogs are AMAZING. Each and every one of them are heroes and so very inspawrational. They give hope when the diagnosis is less than hopeful. They show that we are more than just a sum of our parts. Each and every one of these Tripawds (including those that didn't make the book) give us the courage to face whatever the future holds for us and our furry kids.

Love, love, love the book!! I am so inspired by all these amazing creatures and their wonderful and loving humans!! I am also going to buy several - for me, family members, Dr. Huggins and Bart's specialty vet center!! I hope they put it in their waiting room so others can find some comfort that dogs really are born with 3 legs and a spare !!
