Here are a couple of those topics where Tika helps prove that humor can be the best therapy:

Being the expert internet nerd around here (so what exactly is an avatar . . .), I will re-post one link that ADMIN posted that failed to work
Gosh - that link takes me back. Tika's photos show her in wonderful form, even though they had done away with one leg already, poor girl.
Tazzie 2 was a fresh newbie, just undergoing surgery! I can't believe that we refer to OTHER people and dogs as 'newbies' at the seasoned age of three months. I'm afraid that reflects the type of club to which we belong.
Definitely time for more . Where are you Tika when we need you?!?

Those links don't open for me.
D'oh! You'd think I might undestand our own permalinks hierarchy.
Thanks for catching that. I've fixed both links above.

God bless the evil humor. Kim, you had me laughing out loud.
The beauty of the evil humor is that it can succeed even on the most lonely and depressed, because it sneaks up on ya! Thanks for that.

I ALWAYS enjoy your posts!! The humor and strength is just refreshing, I just hope to keep that in mind on our journey. Shilo is woofing you through, keep up the strength!! We are all rooting for you Tika. Keep up running your mom ragged, I like doing that to my mom too..
Hugs - Shilo & Mom
Shilo diagnosed with osteosarcoma 9/4/2009, amputation 9/9/2009. ShiloAnne lost her battle 11/23/2009 where she regained her fourth leg and is patiently waiting for her parents to join her. We will always love you baby girl.

I too am a big Tika fan!!! Your posts always make me laugh (I'll have to go back and read those other ones when I'm having a bad day!) Keep taking it one day (or walk) at a time and it'll be December 9 before you know it!
As for Halloween, I'm totally dressing McGwire as a pirate! It helps that my boys (human) will be pirates too. Oh, and how evil is this-McGwire has this shirt. You just can't help but laugh when you see him in it!
OMG! I love the shirt! I about fell on the floor.
Yo ho ho ho, the pirate's life for me!
A couple of years ago, but I got pulled away for work, I was going to dress up like Little Red Riding Hood and I had Tika dressed up as the wolf wearing grandma's nightgown (including a little bonnet). My husband was ready to commit me, Tika thought it was funny. Weird humans.

Lol! I love the shirt. It is perfect for all of us on tripawds. Emily, however, would not let us dress her up EVER. Believe me, it is not going to happen.
Debra & Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
That is awsome!! I am going to have to get one for Shilo, that is just too funny...
